“Its a beautiful hotel. The 1 bedroom suite was spacious. Staff at the front desk were lovely, especially Ash (i meed to mention her). I think breakfast options at Ostani were limited (in particular, snack options). The room was clean on entry. But the cleaning during our stay was a bit careless. The bed was poorly .made and bathroom items carlessly placed. These little things matter ”

“Staff member who checked me in was rude and abrupt and could do with some training on customer service. Otherwise we did enjoy our stay at The Avenue. The apartment was well equipped and lovely and quiet. The location is great with an easy walk into the city or nearby restaurants in Braddon. Would definitely consider staying there again ”

“Lovely well maintained older hotel/motel. Great staff, very clean with a bit of character. Despite being a hotel, very quiet and well located next to a small shopping centre with a decent supermarket and a small collection of other shops. No toaster or microwave, while the room (lower queen room) is compact, it is well suited to a 2 or 3 day stay. Helpful staff. Recommended as a good value stay close to Woden and the Canberra Hospital.”
