“The Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like you’re at the seaside. Great communication with the owners. Would 100% stay again. I was there for a week and had a wonderful time.”

“A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.”

“Ho passato una notte in questo ostello e decisamente lo raccomando sia per la sua suggestiva location che per la particolare atmsfera dell'ambiente che lo circonda. Davvero un posto particolare. Trattandosi di un ostello i servizi sono adeguati allo standard della struttura. Ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo. Ma , ripeto, il pezzo forte e' la posizione a fianco delle rovine dell'Abbazia che dominano la cittadina. Non lo consiglio a chi ama pernottare in centro citta' o in luoghi affollati e...

“Nice big rooms and bathroom although a bit dusty room 4 rear facing also used the cups and spoons to make coffee but they was not replaced with clean ones next morning and had to wash them in the bathroom sink (not ideal )lovely breakfast staff very helpful at breakfast ,close to the center parking exspensive if you cant get round the crescent with your scratch card that cost a couple of pounds its £11 a day even tho i have moaned about a couple of miner things i would stay again as it is an...

“Lovely property in an ideal location to walk and explore Whitby. Very clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen for cooking bits and pieces. Plenty of information of the surrounding areas and clear instructions regarding bins, parking, check in and heating. Brilliant communication from the hosts before stay. Would definitely recommend and visit again! ”
