“We i mean i and my husban, had the day of our stay mix up, when we call 1-800-hotels.com number to switch the day, they wouldnt without charging us a $100 fee, we would agree to this, but call the hotel in pittsburgh pa directly and the hotel manager did, for free, so the hotel was a great help, but hotels.com was not they only wanted money tto asst. So my great reviews isnt for hotels.com, its for the hotel and its staff for making our stay a wonderful one !!!”

“ Came to stay here due to location near Shadyside hopsital, where I had surgery the next day. What a beautiful property. Friendly staff, especially our bartender. She was young, but easy to talk to and had knowledge beyond her years. We didnt eat here, so can not attest to that. Beds were confortable. Rooms very large and the interior was like a european hotel. Dark woods with Great history. ”

“Average hotel for the price, however confortable, good bed. The hotel is along a road and there is no side walk, even to get to next restaurant half mile away you need to drive. The kitchen was without any equipment, not even a fork let alone pans however I could get a couple of things from the desk (very polite people)”
