“Came to do some hiking with some friends. Central location if you are looking to do the fire towers! House as described, though with an older home, the doors are a little wonky. Kitchen pretty well supplied, could use a pasta pot and regular frying pans (there is a cast iron pan). The crock pot was a plus! Nice Solo Stove out back - we were lucky with the weather and had a nice cocktail hour outside!”

Everything was well appointed and worked great, beds and bedding were extremely comfortable, host communication impeccable, and we were impressed with the overall vibe of the home. “My spouse and I enjoyed our stay at the Campfire Cottage with our dog. The cottage was well designed and utilized its small space to the fullest. We also appreciated the gas fire pit outside. The location was great- there's an amazing dog friendly Italian restaurant within walking distance, a nice 9-hole golf course about 3 minute drive, and the Rondout Creek area of Kingston is about a 10 minute drive. If we find ourselves back in Kingston, we would definitely want to stay at the campfire...
