    Benvenuti nel nostro paradiso nel sud della Grecia. Un casolare in pietra di 350 anni splendidamente rinnovato con molte caratteristiche originali situato a Pyrgos, un villaggio greco dall'atmosfera tradizionale. 7 minuti in auto dal mare / spiaggia. 45 km dall'aeroporto di Kalamata (KLX).

    L'arioso appartamento principale ha una grande cucina / soggiorno open space con alti soffitti in legno e cucina artigianale. Un'affascinante camera da letto a volta con camino. Collegata tramite un corridoio è la seconda camera da letto con mobili antichi in pino, manufatti orientali e vista mare. Finalmente un bellissimo bagno doccia piastrellato italiano. All'esterno la grande terrazza coperta di viti è un punto culminante, perfetta per apprezzare la vista sul mare o godersi cene pigre in una notte mite.

    I proprietari abitano al piano di sotto (insonorizzato tra i piani). Hai la massima privacy, siamo qui solo per rendere la tua vacanza il più confortevole e piacevole possibile.

Our stay at Casa Sophia was everything we had hoped it would be. The accommodations and location were perfect. We felt at home immediately and found that everything needed was provided including a well equipped kitchen for cooking. Sophia and Mogen’s were wonderful hosts. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. Feel like we have made new friends.We could have spent our entire summer here. And who knows, we may in the future. Thank you Sophia & Mogen.

We had a lovely time, so many gorgeous beaches to visit, wild countryside, and wonderful ruins. Our hosts were welcoming and great communicators, all in all a very special holiday.

Famos!

Tolle Vermieter, immer ansprechbar und sehr umsichtig. Über den gefüllten Kühlschrank bei unserer Ankunft haben wir uns besonders gefreut: Bier, Wein, Brot und Käse. Wie wunderbar. Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und liebevoll eingerichtet. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub!

Beautiful house in a very little village on a mountain, 10 minutes from the see and beaches. The house has everything you need. Beautiful terrasse with flowers and a good view on the see and valley. Very private and peaceful Lovely welcome from Sophia, she is very kind and helpfull. Every grocery and horeca you need very nearby. The surrounding is stunning. We had a very good Holliday. Everything we expected and more. Sophia and Morgens are wonderful hosts. Wonderful hints for places to eat and things to see and how to avoid any driving problems. We were there for two weeks and wished we could stay longer.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Sophias Haus. Sophia ist eine sehr nette, herzliche und ausgesprochen diskrete Gastgeberin. Insbesondere die Terrasse mit den tollen Pflanzen war ein absoluter Traum. Auch ihre zahlreichen Tipps für Unternehmungen, Strände und Restaurants waren toll und sehr hilfreich. Gerne immer wieder.

Auf Entdeckungsreise

Wir wurden superfreundlich empfangen und Sophia hatte für uns sogar schon etwas eingekauft. Die Lage ist super ruhig und schön gelegen mit Blick auf das Meer. Man kann schön auf der Terrasse entspannen. Das wirklich historische Haus wurde sehr gut restauriert und liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. Die Vermieter sind einfach total nett und jederzeit für Anliegen zur Stelle. Sehr herzlich. Also nur zu empfehlen. Wir haben hier eine sehr schöne Zeit verbracht.

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit einer phantastischen Terasse mit Meerblick

Sophia ist eine nette und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr komfortabel und gemütlich. Eine Grundausstattung mit Speisen und Getränken ist bei Ankunft vorhanden. Das Beste ist die Terasse mit vielen Blumen und Pflanzen. Von dort hat man einen phantastischen Blick auf den Messinischen Golf. Das Dorf Pyrgos ist etwas verschlafen aber mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten in Stoupa oder Agios Nikolaos.

Haus mit Charme

Wir haben den Aufenthalt und die Ruhe in diesem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus sehr genossen. Die Küche ist prima ausgestattet und die geräumige Terasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Dorf ist malerisch gelegen und hat seinen eigenen Charme. Sophia versorgt ihre Gäste mit Geheimtipps zur Erkundung der Gegend - sowohl das Meer als auch das Gebirge sind gut zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Sophia verlief einfach perfekt. Als wir kurz vor Mitternacht endlich eintrafen, wartete noch ein Snack auf uns. Vielen Dank für alles, liebe Sophia!

Beautiful, comfortable place to re-set and recharge.

Our hosts provided a ready-made canvas for relaxing and rejuvenating. Casa Sophia is an impeccably well-equipped place with lovely attention to detail and where everything from the books to beach equipment has been considered. The jewel of a terrace has a view like no other across the bay. Our 'Welcome pack' of food and wine was such a kind and generous addition. It is a sturdy solid 'home' steeped in history. It's decorated beautifully and is comfortable enough to spend all your time there if you felt like it. The handwritten information pack our hosts provided was invaluable and came out of experience rather than hearsay. They were there when needed and answered all of our daft questions! It is a perfect base for exploring mountains or coast in a stunning part of Greece that would shine anytime of the year.

My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Sophia. It's a setting where time slows remarkably and you feel a guilt-free pleasure in having an equally slow pace to your days.I first discovered Casa Sophia back in 2017 while searching the internet for places to stay in Europe. We elected to go to Italy that time but I kept an eye on Casa Sophia. As the years went by I continued to check the VRBO site for the listing, hoping to take advantage of it sometime. There was one year I couldn't find the listing and panic set in. Had the property been sold? Had the owners retired? The next year I found the listing again and I relaxed.We made our decision to go to Greece in November of 2024 and shortly after I made our booking for Casa Sophia for September of 2025. Our hosts, Sophia and Mogens, were very good about keeping in contact with us prior to our visit, answering questions that only hosts could answer. Some people might be concerned that the hosts at Casa Sophia live downstairs from the rental property itself. Not to worry; church mice would be louder than the hosts. Seriously. And when you do want to interact with them, they are right there to answer your questions and assist you in any way that they can.If there are times when you want to add a little action to your day, the coastal towns of Stoupa and Agios Nikolaos are less than a ten minute drive away.

Un splendido rifugio di pietra tra mare e montagna. A beautiful hideaway between mountains and sea!

Abbiamo trascorso con i nostri due bambini una vacanza in questa splendida casa in pietra nel cuore di un caratteristico villaggio di montagna, affacciato sul mare di una delle zone più belle del Mani ed a pochi minuti dalle migliori spiagge e calette della zona. La casa è arredata con gusto raffinato ed offre ogni genere di comodità, compresa una cucina perfettamente equipaggiata ed una comoda e suggestiva terrazza contornata di piante ed erbe aromatiche di ogni sorta. Sophia e Mogens sono ospiti eccellenti, sempre gentili sorridenti e disponibili ma mai invasivi, e sono stati fonte di preziosi consigli sulle bellezze della zona e di chiacchiere in amicizia. Siamo stati accolti con mille attenzioni inaspettate - il frigo pieno per un aperitivo greco all'arrivo ed una colazione del giorno dopo, asciugamani e teli da mare, saponi profumati in regalo e caramelle per i bimbi! Consigliamo con cuore questa casa, rifugio ideale sia per una famiglia che per coppie, viaggiatori, o un gruppo di amici, e per tutti coloro che vogliono scoprire e godere della vera Grecia! We have spent with our two children a wonderful two-weeks holiday in this lovely stone-built cottage nestled in a traditional mountain village overlooking the sea, and a few minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches of Mani. The house is furnished with amazing style and accuracy and offers all sort of comforts, including a fully furnished kitchen and a nice terrace full of plants and herbs, which is perfect for outdoor dinners and relax. Sophia and Mogens are excellent hosts, always smiling and ready to advice on the amenities of the area, but never intrusive. They welcomed us with all sort of attentions and kindness, providing a fridge full of local products, beach towels, natural soaps and sweets for the kids! We warmly recommend this location to families as much as couples, travellers and friends, and to everybody who wants to get to know and enjoy the real Greece!

Relaxing days guaranteed at Casa Sophia

We spent ten days in mid-May 2023 in the well-equipped house of Sophia and Mogens who received us very friendly and provided us with good tips, interesting information and small attentions. We don’t miss anything. The house is very individually furnished with a lot of love. Highly recommended.

Super Apartment um sich zu erholen

Das Apartment ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und haben unsere Fragen präzise und schnell beantwortet. Die Terrasse bietet eine gute Privatsphäre und man kann sogar frische Kräuter aus den Töpfen beim Kochen verwenden.
