“We started our NZ vacation here after landing in Christchurch and it was the perfect start. The pub served wonderful appetizers and desserts. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay--great for settling in and relaxation. The pool was cooler than I hoped. Breakfast is self-serve with limited but thoughtful options. Sharing facilities wasn't a problem, but there weren't many other guests during our stay. Staff was warmly welcoming and very accommodating. ”

“Nice and peaceful location. Mostly heard birds chirping as the main sound. Clean and has shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. The stand alone bathroom had no hand soap, which was a bit odd. Has two different laundry and dryer locations on the property that are coin operated, you need to bring your own laundry soap which we had to go to the grocery store to purchase.
Sleeps up to 8 people. Each bed had a heated blanket if needed (not sure about the fold out couch because we didn't use...
