Coming from the UK, we spent the last three nights of our 2.5-week US road trip at this lake house, and it truly surpassed all expectations.
The house itself was fantastic—perfect for our family. The three bedrooms offered plenty of space, and the property had everything we needed, creating a warm and comfortable environment throughout our stay.
Saving the best until last, the location was simply breathtaking. With direct access to the lake at the back of the garden, it felt both tranquil and private. We spent most of our days swimming and kayaking right from our own backyard, which was an unforgettable experience.
After visiting several locations across the US, we left feeling completely relaxed and at peace—this was by far the highlight of our trip.
A special mention to Darol, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right. He even kindly accommodated us at the end of our stay due to our later flight back to the UK, which was greatly appreciated.
Out of the five places we stayed, this was without a doubt the best.
