“Our stay here was fine. The location is excellent, the house is nicely decorated, and the breakfast was solid - scrambled eggs, grits, sausage and a fruit dish every morning. I had been hoping for a helpful host who could guide us with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, but there was not a host on site. The bed was also quite soft and sagged in the middle.”

“The view is phenomenal, we enjoyed every minute. No cooking in the room however there is a fridge and microwave along with plates, glasses, cups, etc.

“Parking and check in was easy. The front desk was friendly and prompt. The room was impeccably clean. All of the linens were white. Everything seemed to be wiped down smelled fresh and the air conditioning was great. I’m actually shocked that I paid the price I did. I would’ve thought that a room like that would’ve went for more. I definitely will come back if I’m in the area!”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Cedars. Host was super friendly and breakfast was always delicious. Room was clean. The only thing that I think needs attention was our bathroom. The shower could use a good spray for mildew and the drain cover is not attached to anything. But other than that I would recommend this place.”

“There were multiple stains in the room’s floor, mold in the corner of the bathtub, no soap or tissues in the bathroom (I was able to ask for soap and they gave me 2 bars) and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. “Hotel parking lot is half destroyed by tree roots and appears under construction. Pool wasn't open, but looked like they are cleaning it or something. We arrived about 40-45mins after 3pm check-in, and rooms were not ready. Another family appeared to to have been waiting ahead of us. They were polite enough to apologize and provide explanation that the hotel had a couple bud loads of people that had checked out that morning. It was not a long wait, but we were moved rooms from what I overheard....

“We enjoyed our stay at Wedmore Place. We were there for a wedding which was absolutely beautiful. It was nice to stay at the same location as the ceremony and reception. The breakfasts were good with ladies who couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed our complimentary wine flights and the free bottle of wine. Our only complaint was the noise from the room above which had 2 children running all over the place. We knew as soon as they were awake in the morning. Ask for a room on the 2nd floor....
