“Great location, beautiful architecture but there was no dining options, the desk staff wear many hats so often there was a “be right back” sign out and some of them did not appear to enjoy working their shift.
Strong chlorine smell in the lobby, no dining options, the shower curtain fell down when I hung a wet towel on it (I’m old so I knew how to fix it), housekeeping every third day but if you appreciate character hotels those issues are worth the experience.”

“This is a complete gem of a B&B, 5 star all the way. Ken and Gwen are amazing hosts who go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay possible in their home. The rooms are beautifully furnished the beds excellent and the individual bathrooms sparkling. The Rose Arden has so much history and character in its period construction. “Desk clerk told me that we had a 1pm check out time but our room wasn’t on cleaning lady’s list . Tried to phone desk when our tv remote didn’t work but their phone was permanently “busy “. Swimming pool was the size of a large jacuzzi constantly full of kids— contrary to online photos!”

“Location was great! Walking distance to great coffee (The Hub) restaurants and cool streets.
The size of the room was great, and I got a reasonable rate especially for Junos weekend.
The electronic keypad was a nice feature, but feels a little unsecure as the buttons showed the most commonly typed number. The mattress was a littke old but more distressing was the age of the sheets, they hit that need to replace stage.
It is an older building but the room had nice new floors and a semi recent...
