The biggest problem was mosquitoes in and outside our room. I complained to the young receptionist and her first response was very disappointing. “I loved staying at the Blue Haven Hotel! I plan to return soon. Marilyn, Carl, and the hotel staff were warm and inviting and made me feel right at home. The restaurant quality and service was excellent--hats off to the chef. Try the Tobagonian Breakfast and the local catch of the day for dinner. The quiet Bacolet Bay beach provided a beautiful background for relaxing and cooling off in the ocean. The oceanfront room allowed me to fall asleep to the sound of waves every night. “The rooms are spacious, clean and well-kept. The bathroom needs an extractor fan. What I didn't particularly like is the pay by the hour rooms within the same compound. That created a rather negative visual for me. Better signage would also help hotel guests to not head in that direction first and be put off.
