Our room was spotlessly clean and the motelier friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend Buller Bridge Motel if you are in the Westport area.”

“Need to tell all the story here. My overall rate is due to the experience I had. Arrived quite late in the evening, about 11.30pm. Couldn't give any notice because our mobiles didn't work in NZ for some reason, and payphones only worked with credit cards, and our were not accepted. When we arrived, nobody was around and reception closed. We rang several times and nobody came out. There were "emergency numbers" on the reception door, we tried to call but again our mobiles didn't work. We found...

“We were attracted online to this property by its immaculate presentation and when we got there we certainly weren't disappointed. Fresh, comfortable and well appointed this cottage is perfectly located over looking the Orowaiti Lagoon. There is plenty of bird life right in front of you, pied oyster catchers, stilts and paradise ducks to name a few, the view is always changing. Our host met and greet us but left us to it during our stay. There is so much to do and see in the Buller region, this...

“We enjoyed our stay in Gay’s fully equipped cottage. It has everything you need, a comfortable pull out bed and so close to lovely hiking trails along the coast. Great value! Wed come back here. Michael”

“Exactly as advertised. The stairs were a great challenge for the hip replacement, I came away with a good functioning hip. Learnt to ride my bike again. Enjoyed the bike trail plus the wee restaurant on the corner. The low ceiling caused the 6 footer a few adverse reactions but he got used to it, All in all a great holiday.”
