“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bach. The view is stunning, the wildlife enchanting and Julia was the perfect host. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds very comfy, and the place was spotless. The local beaches are heavenly and well worth an explore. I'd definitely recommend this bach to anyone wanting to chillout and slow down, and we'd definitely stay again.”

“The listing is inaccurate there is no spa, the bbq was so rusty we could not use it. The pillows are so lumpy you could not sleep on them. Only two beds were made up for us despite there being 4 people. The listing didn’t say you share the location with the owner.”

“Loved the central location within easy walking distance to the estuary, walkway on the ridge with great views and handy to Wood St shops with groceries, coffee and a range of eateries. A basic kiwi bach but appreciated the full kitchen and good-sized frig/freezer for self catering and the comfortable beds.”

“Thanks for a fabulous weekend break! Clean, tidy, comfortable beds and plenty of games for the kids. 3minute walk down a track to the sea, ideal for beachy days.”

“The stay was good but, the place could have done with a bit more cleaning and airing out. It smelt stale and there were cobwebs in the bedrooms. I fixed the back shower by screwing up the nut so the shower head would stay up. There was a need for better lighting in the kitchen so we replaced the missing light bulb with a bulb from the back bedroom. We left a note on the table for the owner.”
