Sharrowhead Cottage - E4044

Questo tradizionale cottage di pescatori è un ottimo rifugio sul mare, vicino alla spiaggia e alla storica casa di Whitby del Capitano Cook. Piano seminterrato: zona pranzo / cucina. Scale a lato aperto al piano terra: soggiorno. Ripida, stretta scala a chiocciola al primo piano: 1 camera matrimoniale. Bagno con doccia e vasca e servizi igienici. Scale molto ripide al secondo piano: 1 camera doppia .. Fuoco a gas carbone incluso. Riscaldamento a gas, elettricità, biancheria da letto e Wi-Fi inclusi. DVD. CD. docking station per iPod. Microonde. Capannone con lavatrice e asciugatrice. Ripida sponda per il parcheggio, a 500 iarde (a pagamento). Vietato fumare.. Nascosto alla fine di uno dei vicoli pittoreschi nel pittoresco villaggio costiero di Robin Hood's Bay, questo incantevole cottage di pescatori con travi a vista è perfetto per le pause tutto l'anno e si trova a 1 minuto a piedi dalla spiaggia. Dotato di interni confortevoli e moderni, si trova a 50 metri da pub, caffetterie e negozi ea soli 5 km dalla famosa Whitby, un'affascinante città portuale associata al Capitano Cook, alte navi e la leggenda di Dracula. Viaggia a Pickering in treno a vapore e nelle splendide brughiere di Whitby - o York è a un'ora di macchina. Equitazione e noleggio biciclette in loco.

Le scale dal piano terra al piano seminterrato sono aperte da un lato e le scale dal primo piano al secondo piano sono ripide e a spirale con un'altezza della ringhiera inferiore a 1 m. La biancheria da letto è inclusa in questa struttura, si ricorda di portare gli asciugamani. Solo un cane.

Sharrow head cottage

This little cottage is a gem, location is amazing. From arriving to leaving it has been the most relaxing week ever. The cottage was equipped with everything you need there was absolutely nothing we were without, and the welcome bottle of wine was a very nice touch. We can't wait to get back. Thank you Jo. Xx

Cosy, compact, convenient

The cottage is compact, but every inch of space is used to the maximum to make it a very comfortable, cosy place to base yourself. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. The living area is tiny, but with a comfy sofa and armchair is fine to hang out in. The stairs are very steep, especially to the attic bedroom (come down in reverse and use the rope provided!) Ideal for a family with younger children (who will love the attic bedroom), but I managed to negotiate the stairs as a reasonably fit and active grandma😁 The cottage is at the bottom of the hill, very ancient for the beach and main village.

Delightful old cottage at the bottom of Robin’s Hood Bay. Warm and cosy and a wonderful retreat after a hard days walking along the Cleveland Way. Nice to have a bath as well as a shower to soak those aching muscles! Well equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals if you are eating in. Loved it. The boys loved the attic room and the location was perfect for the beach, pub, excellent fish bar and restaurant. A short stroll to Ravenscar to see the grey seals. A real quirky cottage, very close to the beach and with bags of history, loved the hidden spiral stairs, children really liked their room on the top floor and the bell in the kitchen. A good informative folder produced by the owners gave an in depth history of ownership of the cottage that made interesting reading. A well equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting room with Netflix and comfy beds made our stay enjoyable, and it's dog friendly - what more could one want.
