“I had a wonderful two days, staying at the Inn. My only regret was not having a room with a better view of the ocean .. one could see it over power lines, but my room in the northern building just could afford a slight vista. I shall definitely return!”

“This property was wonderful, beginning with the warm welcome at 12:30 a.m. due to our delayed flight. The front desk person was genuinely friendly and very helpful after a long day of travel. The fresh cookies didn’t hurt either. The location of the property is maybe 100 yds from a great beach access to Haystack Rock/Cannon Beach. Breakfast was great also and checkout was seamless. A great experience at a wonderful property! ”

“Great beach view and walking distance from the quaint little town. Just a few minutes drive to the state park and we were visited by elk in the mornings. The staff offered us firewood and matches so we could enjoy a bonfire on the beach ❤️”

“We visited the Tolovana for the first time in May 2026. The room we had was spacious, complete with a well functioning kitchen that we really enjoyed. The cost of the room, with expansive ocean views facing south, was very reasonable. Grounds were lovely and well maintained. We gave only 4 stars because there was no disclosure on the Expedia website about a pet fee to bring a pet. The staff says they have contacted Expedia several times about this and they have not corrected the problem -...

“Cannot recommend this Inn enough! It was so charming and the staff was very welcoming. The location is very close to the beach but not particularly close to eating options. However, the staff did a great job of providing information about this both in advance and during our stay. They also provided snacks on site, charcuterie upon arrival and breakfast in the morning. We were in the room with the in room sauna and it was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It has its own exterior door...

“We have stayed in one of these units before and we were drawn back due to the low price and location! It is only a few blocks from the promenade. The room was immaculate! Super comfy bed, plenty of clean towels, a little fireplace that comes on when the thermostat is set to heat, everything you would need in the little kitchenette including a Keurig. Highly recommend renting from any of these units! ”

“It's not the fault of the staff. But the upstairs neighbors were loud late into the night and early in the morning. The beds were not comfortable. That put together led to poor sleep. Otherwise a good stay.”
