Our adult children LOVED the cabin... great layout allowed us to all eat and play games together - but also to have different activities going on in different areas.Nice sized kitchen had lots of appliances, etc. and worked well for food preparation.Hot Tub was perfect - view was beautiful and cabin had lots of character

We have been enjoying opening weekend of deer hunting for 25 years and have always stayed at Crab and Jacks. We hope to never stay there again after our weekend at your cabin. It was perfect for our group of 2 Dads and their sons.

We enjoyed our stay at the Log Cabin on the Wolf River. After 10 miles of hiking the hot tub felt wonderful, we then enjoyed our dinner at the large kitchen table. After that we relaxed in the living room. The following morning while comfortably sitting by the window watched 11 loons dancing across the Wolf River. We appreciated the 12:00 check in and out times.

Great location. Everything you need is there. Outdoor games Nice hot tub. One drawback is both bathrooms are on the first floor. Nice restaurant and bar is a 5 minute walk

Everything about this place is amazing. It is the definition of Northwoods and has a fantastic history behind it. We really enjoyed the small perks that it came with, toiletries that may have been forgotten, first aid equipment, baking supplies, games and movies. The TV was a little difficult to figure out, as someone who doesn't use cable. We are definitely making plans to come back in the future.

We had the perfect long weekend with family and friends to end the summer. This was our second time in this cabin and everything was just as great as the first time. The house and its amenities offer anything you possibly need/want on a trip up north! We will be back…

We LOVED staying in this cabin! Our daughter was married at Crab n Jacks, and we were a central place to meet. The cabin was beautiful, the gardens and grounds were peaceful, and we loved listening to the river. Check in and check out was easy, and our host were very willing to accommodate. We couldn’t have been happier ❤️

The cabin was so cozy and relaxing, perfect for a mini holiday getaway with the family around the holidays. The cabin was decorated so beautifully. They left up some Christmas and holiday decor, including some cool vintage pieces, which added to the coziness. There was tons of snow up there, but we were still able to enjoy the hot tub and go for nice walks around the property. Plenty of room for 9 adults and 4 wild kiddos. The mattresses under the beds is such a great idea for extra sleeping space! Plenty of extra sheets, blankets and towels if needed. The place was stocked with all the necessities, like kitchen and bath stuff etc. My in-laws absolutely loved their stay and are already talking about going back.

Caitlin is a great host, from the communication leading up to the trip and during our stay. Very well organized. The cabin is simply amazing and has all the amenities needed. From the moment we arrived until we sadly had to leave after 5 days, we enjoyed every minute of it. Best part is to sit in the morning with a coffee on the terrace watch the river flow by and eagles fly above us. This is the true northwood paradise. We will be back!

Our family getaway to River Haven was absolutely magical. With four generations, ranging from age 86 to 1, to we all had an unforgettable time. The pictures do not do the natural backdrop of this home justice. The yard and patio were perfect for hanging by the fire, playing bags, bocce, and more, and relaxing in the hot tub. The house is equipped with everything you’ll need. We enjoyed family dinners and played cards at the enormous dining table, hung by the fireplace in the open living room, and went for hikes. It was also so fun to learn about the history and look through old pictures of the cabin. We made so many memories here and hope to return! We can’t forget to mention how incredible Caitlin and Patsy were! They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!

Our family had a wonderful time rejuvenating in this peaceful environment. We walked along the river, enjoyed the calmness of the outdoors and relaxed in the hot tub. We told stories of past memories around the camp fire and enjoyed playing both indoor and outdoor games. We will love to rent it again.

Just the most magical spot in a beautiful historic home right on the river. Plus everything modern you would ever need. We spent most of our time in the yard, on the deck, in the hot tub. Really beautiful spot. Ownership and management were wonderful and accommodating. We can’t wait to return.

This property is so wonderful in every way that almost don't what to give the spectacular review it absolutely deserves because I'll have a harder time finding open dates to go back! The amenities are amazing! The views are breathtaking, and the gardens on the property are simply gorgeous. Inside, the owners have thought of everything to make your trip feel as special as possible. We definitely will be back!

The yard and cabin were beautiful! Very clean and comfy! Had everything there we ever needed! Hot tub and deck were so nice to enjoy. And we went river rafting at js landing and shotgun eddys which were both less than 10 mins away. So fun! We definitely recommend riverhaven to anyone!!!!!!!

If you are looking to get away from it all in a beautiful, peaceful setting, this is the place! From the minute I walked in, this place had a warm and homey feeling. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the items we would need to make our stay comfortable. We had such a great time cooking our own meals there together. If you don't feel like cooking every night, there is a fun restaurant, Crab 'n Jack's, just down the road that we easily walked to. They have some amazing food and a great atmosphere and the local people are all very friendly. The cabin itself had more than enough beds and bedrooms for us to all feel comfortable during our stay and they were all decorated so cute. The two full bathrooms were great to have and the owner even thought to provide extra toiletries that we might have forgotten, very thoughtful! My favorite time of the day was relaxing in the outdoor hot tub under the stars with a nice glass of wine and then sitting in front of the crackling fire with a good book. This is certainly a place to relax and rejuvenate and get away from the daily hecticness of life. Just a warning though, you may never want to leave :)
