'Y Cartws' è una dependance ristrutturata (precedentemente la capanna e le stalle) in un allevamento di pecore - Maesyfelin. I proprietari, Paul ed Eirlys Williams e la loro famiglia sono la settima generazione della famiglia che ha coltivato qui. Y-Cartws offre la base ideale per chi desidera trascorrere il tempo esplorando la costa e la campagna del bellissimo Galles occidentale. Siamo sia la famiglia che gli animali domestici. È una posizione molto tranquilla con viste meravigliose su acri di erba verde lussureggiante. I nostri visitatori sono invitati a fare una passeggiata fino alla nostra area boschiva dove c'è un ruscello e un sacco di spazio per un picnic. Y Cartws si trova anche in un'ottima posizione per ammirare le stelle con il suo meraviglioso cielo scuro di notte, tempo permettendo, ovviamente. Siamo felici di farti volare il tuo drone dai nostri campi. Durante il mese di marzo e aprile abbiamo il tempo pieno di Lambing, i nostri visitatori sono invitati a dare un'occhiata a ciò che sta succedendo o darci una mano con l'alimentazione di agnelli molly, se ne abbiamo! Lo stesso cottage ha una grande cucina colonica, una lavanderia e un soggiorno al piano terra. Al piano superiore sono 2 camere da letto (1 matrimoniale e 1 doppia con possibilità di culla e un letto singolo) e un bagno. Ha riscaldamento centralizzato a gasolio in tutto. WI -FI è disponibile tramite la password del cottage fornita all'arrivo, siamo sul telefono cellulare EE e abbiamo un segnale sulla fattoria. Forniamo anche un cancello scala, lettino e seggiolone per i nostri piccoli ospiti. I bambini sono invitati a giocare nei campi. È disponibile un ampio parcheggio. C'è un prato a sinistra del cottage e una panchina e un tavolo appena fuori dal cottage. Gli asciugamani sono anche forniti.

Really wonderful stay in a very comfortable home on a welcoming sheep farm in the west Wales countryside. Its deep in the country but its an easy drive to the Pembrokeshire beaches to the north, south and west. Its a stunning part of the world. We particularly liked Mwnt, St Davids Head and Marloes Sands. After a long day on the beach, it was always a pleasure to return to the farm.

Fabulous stay

The cottage is cosy, clean and well equipped. It is in stunning location with very friendly dogs. The owners are easy to communicate with and are very helpful. We had a fabulous week here.

Beautiful Scenery

We had a great stay at this fully equipped cottage. We had a lovely welcome by Eirlys and Paul, who were on site and around when needed, but never imposed. The beds and chairs were super comfortable and the dogs were cute and friendly. The area has great pubs,beaches and coastal walks all within a short drive. Would recommend to a friend. We are looking forward to booking next year. 😎🐶

A must stay.

If you want to experience rural Wales this place is amazing. A beautiful converted barn for you to stay in on a sheep farm with 3 working dogs who are so friendly and want tummy rubs. The hosts were helpful and delightful and it was a great base to explore what Wales has to offer and we were here for 10 days and only touched the tip of the iceberg. Stay here,switched your phone off and enjoy the scenery.

Exceptional cottage

Exceptional cottage, spacious and very clean in a wonderful relaxing setting. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need and easily enough room for a family of 4. Very well situated to explore the sites of South West Wales with lots of stunning places for walking in the countryside and hills. We had a wonderful weeks holiday and would like to thank Eirlys and Paul for being so welcoming and allowing us stay in their beautiful property.

A beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Thank you so much Eirlys and Paul. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break to the farm. With plenty of beautiful walks and beaches a short drive away; It felt like the much needed tonic, after a long winter. The children absolutely loved being on the farm. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable, with ample space for a family of four. The kitchen is well equipped and the personal touches were much appreciated.

A break away from the mayhem

This property is exceptionally well set up with everything you need for an enjoyable and peaceful setting. It is spacious and easily would accommodation a family of four. The location is so quite but you have beaches to die for within easy driving distance. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us some very useful tips. It was just what we needed after months of lockdown and uncertainty.

Comfort, quiet and beauty.

Y-Cartwys is in a beautiful location, and is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and even though the weather was a bit changeable we had a wonderful week exploring the coasts of both Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion as the cottage is so well placed. You could also easily access Carmarthenshire and other parts of Wales. Highly recommended.

Wonderful cottage

We had a lovely time staying at the cottage and it makes a good base for lots of things to do in the area with the kids. The cottage was very clean and cosy and Eirlys and Paul were very welcoming along with Bella, Ben and Mai the four legged friends. If you want to get away to somewhere quiet and completely dark at night this is the place. We had a lovely stay thank you and we will be returning at some point.

Wonderful home away from home

Renting was a breeze. The property was delightful, with all the mod cons tucked into a warm and cozy home. The location was rural but an easy drive to activities. We loved the beautiful sites of the farm right outside the windows and their adorable dogs ready to greet us whenever we left. We would definitely rent this lovely property again!

A perfect peaceful retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location with a beautiful surroundings. Well located, everything seemed just half an hour away. Stunning night sky, never seen anything like it. The cottage itself was perfect, cosy, well equipped and felt like home. Eirlys and Paul were there if you needed them otherwise you just carry on as usual, a friendly welcome or bara brith and fresh eggs. Our children made new friends in Mai, Ben and Bella the farm dogs, for children that aren’t too keen or used to dogs they absolutely loved these friendly pups. The surrounding town of Cardigan is amazing, the beaches of Mwnt and Poppit Sands are great beaches. Plenty of culture, history and wildlife nearby and amazing views just on the drive in to Cardigan. We all loved this place and would happily book again tomorrow. Thanks Simon, Aurore, Elora, Eliot and Aiden.

Eine rundum schöne Unterkunft

Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, bietet großzügig Platz auch für uns fünf. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Eirlys und Paul empfangen und auch während unseres Aufenthalts kümmerten sie sich jederzeit darum, dass wir alles hatten, was wir brauchten. Wir hatten auch besonders viel Spaß an und mit den Hofhunden. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern, die wir jederzeit weiter empfehlen können.

Stunning venue

Beautiful converted stone cottage with a large dining kitchen directly on the farm courtyard. The garden is not attached to the cottage but is a few metres away) which meant we had to accompany our dogs in the rain!) Very clean, comfortable with extremely hospitable hosts.

It's a but remote until you get used to it, but that's it's charm. Great yo be on a working Sheep Farm. Wonderful place for families and children Thoroughly recommended.

Relaxing getaway in fabulous family accommodation

Eirlys, Paul and their two sons were very kind and friendly hosts. Whilst we had some trouble finding the accommodation, Eirlys came to the rescue and there was no looking back. The barn, which has been converted into accommodation, is spacious and very well appointed. Apart from food and personal affects, everything that we needed was supplied. We particularly enjoyed the farm fresh eggs, milk and cake that was waiting for us when we arrived. The farm, Y-Cartws, is in a central location in the south. It was easy to visit the highlights of the Pembrokshire region. Eirlys gave us some good recommendations and a walking guide book that helped us to decide on our daily adventures. Another highlight was a little tour of the farm that enabled my nearly one year old son to see sheep and chickens for the first time. For those wishing to stay here, the easiest way to find it is to type "Y Cartws holiday cottage" into Google Maps, and it will direct you to the exact location.
