Hotel a Whitley City

“Clean, nice, close to the waterfall, very good.”

“Room was clean. Breakfast was light but good. Beds were more on the firm side. Property doesn't have much to do onsite, a fire pit and hot tub would be great additions for a little retreat. Looks like they may be adding to the property as there was the start of a pond dug out. I'd love to see more things to do onsite in the future! I would recommend a light in the parking area for late night arrivals/returns. Quiet retreat.”

“Nothing was clean nor ready.”

“Room had a strong chemical smell and the bathroom floor was so dirty, our bed was really hard. Other than that it was an ok stay.”

“The room was excellent. The only issue was the breakfast. Limited choices and scant amounts. Other than that it was a great stay and I would rebook. Loved the checkin and checkout process. It was seamless.”

“Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was relatively clean. Pillows on bed were basically throw pillows. Very uncomfortable. Shower handle was very loose so shower was either red hot or cold.... middle was not an option. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.”

“Very pretty hotel, definitely seems to be newer. The room was nice, but had an almost damp feel to it...bed was comfy, or we were just so exhausted we crashed. Shower pressure is low but the shower itself is super nice! Don't get the rooms right near the elevators, you hear the hum of them moving. Overall, I'd stay again, just not close to the elevators.”

“More pillows”

“I’ve stayed here before so know the hotel pretty well. The pool was closed for maintenance, which I can’t fault them or the site for, and even though it was one of the main reasons for picking this hotel it didn’t make much difference to our trip. The hotel still has the old name on the sign, which threw me for a moment, but the picture is the same. The rooms need a little bit of work but for what we needed it was good.”

“Never got fresh towels or trash emptied. Bed linens were stained. The rails going up the steps were covered with dry bird crap so there was no way I would touch the rail which made it a hugh fall risk.”

“Exterior was falling appart, no hangers, no breakfast, and the exterior door did not lock.”

“The front desk clerk was stoned. The entire lobby and herself smelled like weed. They are understaffed and removed the minimal breakfast a half hour early. Other than that the facility was clean, safe, and convenient.”

“Comfortable and friendly”

“Old run down place. Looked ok at first but dead bugs in light fixture, stuffed splashed on walls by sink that needed wiped off. Poop not open thus time of year but probably never is”

“Very nice place”

“Very nice hotel. The only problem I had was the noise level in my room. The guests in the next room watched TV and the sound penetrated into my room very clearly. I could easily hear that they were watching reruns of Friends. This was pretty annoying and I might have asked for a change of rooms, but they eventually turned off the TV and I had no further issues. My feeling was that there was insufficient insulation to deaden the sound between rooms.”

“The water pressure and temperature were AMAZING!!”

“Clean, friendly staff. Had multiple charging options for electronics built into the bedside lighting.”
