The lodge features two spacious king en-suite bedrooms, a bright open-plan living space with Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi, plus a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking and longer stays. Bi-fold doors open out to the private outdoor area, creating a calm and relaxing environment.

Upon arrival, guests will be provided with a code for entry via lockbox to access the home. Check-in is available 15:00 - 22:00, and check-out is before 11:00am. Early check-in and late check-out may be possible pending the availability of the space. If approved, an additional fee will apply. The space is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. The surrounding neighbourhood is a residential community and guests are encouraged to explore. There will be a guest house manual upon arrival with local area recommendations including a home guide, places to see, restaurants and grocery stores. Canterbury is also easily accessible, with its historic cathedral, riverside paths and shopping areas all within a quick drive. The neighbourhood is calm and walkable, with plenty of nearby routes for morning strolls, jogging or exploring the local area. Driving, walking and public transport are all easy options during your stay.

High Trees Lodge is located in a peaceful residential area, so we kindly ask all guests to respect the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum at all times. Quiet hours are from 11:00pm – 8:00am.

No smoking, no parties and no unauthorized guests are allowed. Pets may be considered upon request. Please remove your shoes at the entrance to help keep the lodge clean and well maintained.

Food and drinks should be kept in the kitchen and dining areas only. Only water is allowed in the bedrooms to prevent stains or damage. The lodge has been carefully furnished, so please do not move or rearrange any furniture during your stay.

If you notice any damage on arrival, or if something breaks during your stay, please let us know immediately so we can arrange a repair. Unreported damages may result in additional fees and may also lead to the reservation being cancelled or escalated to Airbnb.
