Owned by the Williams family since 2002 (who also own the nearby Dillsboro Chocolate Factory and Espresso Bar), Bear Necessities underwent recent upgrades in 2022 and 2023. The addition of new Serta I Comfort bedding ensures a restful night's sleep, while the Hot Springs saltwater hot tub and 4K smart TVs provide modern amenities for your enjoyment. The cabin also received a fresh coat of stain and a new Trex Deck. These improvements reflect our commitment to providing a place that honors your time and hard work.

Bear Necessities was previously managed by a local vacation rental company for nearly 2 decades, but in 2019, it was acquired by a national management company. The difference in service and detail is notable, and and now being under the management of Watershed Cabins, the home is once again providing a personalized guest service with local staff available to assist with any questions or issues that may arise during your stay.
