Baita di lusso "Over the Edge" con vista mozzafiato

Questa bellissima casa artigianale di 3200 piedi quadrati, quattro camere da letto, tre bagni in tronchi, incastonata nelle Smoky Mountains ha tutto quello che stai cercando in un rifugio di montagna. Ci sono accenti di registro completi e finiture tagliate a mano in tutta la cabina. Situato ad un'altitudine di 3.000 piedi otterrete una "vista da un milione di dollari" come nessun altro! La cabina ha un grande involucro intorno al ponte, veranda coperta e una zona relax buca per il fuoco per le notti stellate.

Sia che tu stia cercando un posto dove rilassarsi o che cerchi attività illimitate, non devi cercare oltre! Siediti e goditi l'accogliente camino a legna ammirando le splendide viste sulle montagne. Il nostro bagno padronale offre anche una grande vasca idromassaggio angolare per immergersi dopo una giornata piena di divertimento. Scendi al nostro livello inferiore e avrai un'area completamente arredata con tavolo da biliardo di dimensioni regolamentari, tavolo da poker e wet bar completo di mini frigo e microonde. Esci all'aperto sorseggiando una tazza di caffè o un bicchiere di vino ammirando la vista sulle montagne dal ponte. Escursioni meravigliose sono proprio fuori dalla porta sul retro, o fare un giro panoramico in qualsiasi direzione ... attraverso la Blue Ridge Parkway, Smoky Mountain National Park, o Cherohala Skyway. Qualunque cosa tu stia cercando, lo troverai qui!

Il parco nazionale di Great Smoky Mountain, Cherokee e Harrah's Casino sono a 15 minuti di distanza. Asheville, sede della tenuta di Biltmore, è a meno di un'ora di guida. Gatlinburg offre intrattenimento, shopping, ristoranti e Pigeon Forge è la patria di Dollywood, parchi acquatici, ecc! Un'ora di guida attraverso le Smoky Mountains mozzafiato. Shopping locale nella vicina Bryson City, Sylva / Dillsboro e Maggie Valley insieme a numerosi ristoranti. Per i più avventurosi, il NOC (Nantahala Outdoor Center) offre rafting sul fiume, kayak di classe mondiale, fodera zip, mountain bike ed escursioni che si trovano a 30 minuti di distanza. L'area ha anche molti campi da golf impegnativi e belli con viste spettacolari sulle montagne. Due di loro sono entro 10 minuti dalla cabina. Se si tratta di birrerie che ti piacciono, prendi un growler della tua birra preferita da una delle tante birrerie locali ... il preferito è il birrificio Nantahala a Bryson City, che offre intrattenimento dal vivo durante il fine settimana. Lovely cabin with stunning views. Fall colors were about 10 days from peak at the cabin.Beds were very comfortable. Sadly, while we were there, the house below us was using chainsaw until 7:30 pm two nights so it took away some peace and quiet.The cabin is very well laid out and well stocked kitchen.Bring your own shampoo and soap and Kleenex as these were not included.All in all, a great spot.

Absolutely looked our stay at Over the Edge. The craftsmanship and decorating of the cabin is outstanding, the views are great and we loved the pool and card tables downstairs. It was a 15 minute trip to Dillsboro and Sylva with Ilda’s restaurant as our favorite and 30 minutes to Bryson City. We recommend the Moonshine Tour on the Smoky Mountain Railroad. A 45 minute drive to some outstanding waterfalls and Highlands. Everything was fantastic!

Very clean with EXCELLENT Views

Our stay was during New Years. We have stayed in several cabins over the years. OVER THE EDGE is a perfect name for this home as it is on the edge with exceptional views.We will certainly come again. :)

Graduation Stay

Cabin has beautiful views and very clean property. However, there is no mention that the mountain road to the cabin is gravel and not paved, will need to have 4 wheel drive at all times throughout the year to get to this cabin. Also, note that they expect you to take all your trash to a dumpster facility at the end of your trip. I understand cleaning up behind myself, but I pay for a cleaning fee for that reason. This was the first I have ever had to take my own trash off to a dumpster that was not even close by.

Spectacular view

This cabin is beautiful! Excellent layout with plenty of space for our family of six. We’ve stayed in many cabins over the years and this is by far the best view of the mountains we’ve ever had. Cabin has all the basics. Plenty of kitchen supplies if you plan to cook. Beds & couches were comfortable. Hammock swings & fire pit outside are great for relaxing outside. It would be nice if towels for hot tub use were provided (maybe near that door). We had two vehicles (truck and mid size SUV) & that was a bit tough to navigate in the driveway. Please beware if you travel during Fall, beetles (look like lady bugs) & stink bugs will be (mostly in loft rooms) in the house. We spoke with the owners who tried to remedy this issue but it’s common in the area. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Paradise on earth

This is very nice please for relaxation all day long in the cabin overlooking beautiful mountain ranges, and spectacular sunrises, or short drives to national Park and surrounding towns, plenty of things to do, whatever your heart desires.

Over The Edge was absolutely perfect. The owners thought of everything. The log home is beautiful and the view is spectacular. We have stayed in several mountain properties over the years but this place was definitely the best.

Fourth Time Staying Here

This is our fourth time staying in this beautiful mountain cabin. We love the ambience of the cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked. The view is simply incredible. I noticed that some people complain because of the drive up to get to the cabin but to stay on top of the mountain you have to drive up. The owners are incredible to work with. They answered any questions we had, and worked with us on actually changing some dates due to a family wedding. This is by far one of our favorite vacation stays. Waynesville has great shopping as well as Bryson City. We love Deep Creek and the hiking trails in the Smoky’s. We didn’t use the hot tub because we didn’t want our grands to be tempted to “swim.” We didn’t use the outdoor grill either. We did build a fire inside and enjoyed that very much. Also, we love the firepit area. The grands enjoyed making s’mores and swinging in the hammock swings. You just can’t go wrong in renting this beautiful home. We will definitely be back for a fifth stay!!

Absolutely beautiful

The cabin is beautiful and the views of the mountains are spectacular. It really feels like a little bit of heaven. Far enough from everyone to have a quiet space to come back to after long days sightseeing but close enough to all kinds of activities. I'm not one to sit still usually when on vacation, but there was something about this cabin that made me slow down and really enjoy what relaxing things it had to offer (hammock chairs, hot tub, fire pit, pool table). We really had a great vacation and hope to visit again. I do have to mention that it is a pretty steep climb up a single lane gravel road so it probably isn't good for someone afraid of heights. We were really happy to have our jeeps with us to get up and down the mountain.

Awesome Cabin- Awesome view

We were very impressed by this large and very handsome cabin. The view was spectacular and the accommodations were plentiful. It was a bit dicey driving to the location the first time, but after that, all was well and we had a great time.

The cabin is exactly as pictured and described, if not better! The owners are very responsive and clearly want guests to enjoy their cabin as much as they do. Overall great stay!

Amazing property

Our family has rented a cabin for Christmas many times and this one blew us away. It is spacious, clean, well stocked, and has beautiful views. Great layout, all the amenities, responsive and helpful hosts, and plenty of seating for everyone in the great room. Of all the cabins we’ve stayed in before, I can’t wait to return to this one.

Rented this property several months in advance for a multiple family vacation. The day prior to arrival, owner contacted due to a water problem but unable to postpone vacation due to work and school. At lunch on the day of arrival, owner contacted saying the cabin was inhabitable for the entire stay due to a burnt up water pump, unrelated to weather. Owner then did not release full refund, Vrbo had to be contacted for a full refund. Vrbo was very helpful and owners were prompt in replying but otherwise unhelpful in providing a property.

Fall getaway (Fall Leaf color change)

Property was just as described (beautiful cabin). Views spectacular and cabin well stocked. The drive up a little tricky (not if you follow property owner's instructions though! Stick to their instructions and NOT YOUR GPS!!!). Roads are well maintained and we didn't have any difficulty making it up the mountain. If you have a chance, the Great Smoky Mt Railroad Tuskasegee River Excursion is a must! We also picked the perfect time as the leaves were at peak color change!

Perfect fall getaway

We rent a house each talk and this one has by far been our favorite. Perfect layout and the boys loved the pool table. Hot tub was a dream and loved watching shooting stars after a day of hiking. Can't wait to go back!

Good for the soul

This cabin, built by the owners with an incredible view was just what we needed for our vacation. With ages ranging from 16 to a 74 year old, it offered something special for everyone. I would love to book this cabin again.
