“We had booked in to the Baddeck Domes for our stay but they were not finished being built. This was very disappointing for us. The owner made it right by giving us a full refund for the Domes. We then stayed in the Baddeck motel. The room was tiny, there was mold on the curtains, but the beds were clean and comfortable enough. It looks like they may be doing some renovations on the motel. The staff was the best part of the stay. ”

“Domes are a newly added addition to the Baddeck Hotel, and private washrooms are being worked on and are under construction. The current bathrooms are in a private room in the hotel and are clean. Highway noise from the NS HWY 105 was loud. The dome was great, just needs a privacy shade for the glass entry door. Many heaters are included to keep you warm during the winter, and a heat pump is available for A/C in the summer. Overall, I had a good stay. The experience is bound to get better when...

“I’ll preface by saying I know it’s the off season… but we found there was usually nobody around and things were pretty neglected. We found everything comfortable enough, our room had been cleaned and linens were clean, but the rooms are not in the best condition. Ther stairs to the building had thick ice. The rooms that you enter via a hallway are noisy (the key code for the door is super loud!) and make it feel more like shared accommodation.”
