“This is a great place to stay. Granted it’s not poshy updated marble and brass - it’s a homey, roomy, delightfully clean and woodsy. And it’s literally a stones throw from the pub which is arguably one of the best in Vic. We have been here before and will be back again! Value for the money. And a bonus sampler pack of beer and chocolates when you stay. Really? Wow. ”

“We are badly conflicted about this hotel. It is truly a 5 star luxury hotel with incredible finishes and service. The restaurant is also terrific as are the staff. So what is our problem? Samuel McClure must be rolling over in his grave at the mis matched furniture and decorations , the multitude of odd garden statues placed aimlessly everywhere , and the requirement that you must go outside and get wet after dinner to get back to your room.
