Hotel vicino a Wilkes Park - Oak Grove

“The Casino and Grandstand/Races were very nice. Smoking was allowed, but in the casino ventilation was good so it was tolerable. Our room was very nice & comfortable. Too bad we were given a room with a view of the roof & maintenance facilities. Should have changed but we opted not to since we were only in the room to sleep.”

“I was first given an ADA room. I do not like taking those rooms from others that actually need it. The staff changed the room after trying to convince me that my reservation required it. He then gives me an “upgraded” room that clearly wasn’t an upgrade. The room was decent but the toilet and bathtub were dirty. The shower head was also very loose. I’d give this overall experience a B-.”

“The customer service was phenomenal, the hotel was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety of food. I will definitely come back and recommend it.”

“I had stink bugs in my room for 3 days. One landed in my bed. It was a shady location kind of hidden from the main road & shady characters to boot. The ice machine was broken and there was no coffee maker. The shower curtain didn't cover the tub, and therefore water got all over the floor.”

“The hotel was clean, the staff nice and the location was also good. The public areas and corridors were so overwhelmingly scented my wife had an asthma attack. Thank goodness the room itself was not scented.”

“My husband and I checked in after a long day of traveling and Chris was wonderful. He was so welcoming and a breath of fresh air. I would come back and stay there just because of him.”

“Our room was “cleaned” before checkout. Staff had thrown out half of our belongings that were still in our room including prescription medications. Bathroom was not clean. Front desk staff did nothing to compensate for our belongings being thrown in the garbage. Why our room was cleaned before we had checked out doesn’t make any sense and to throw someone’s medication out is an obvious sign they had not checked out. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.”
