“The Garden South Park Inn was in a fairly good location. We parked and walked from there to the Gardens (3-4 minutes) and from there down to the Boardwalk (10-15 minutes). Quite a few restaurants on the route. They allowed us to drop off our luggage early, but didn't offer to help get it up to our room upstairs (no elevator) though they could see we were struggling (large travel golf bag). “Hotel has the perfect location for viewing the harbour and close to great restaurants. The hotel itself is a bit dated. Also, our room wasn't cleaned after a full day of exploring the area. We called guest services and they stated you need to call to schedule a time to clean the room to be sure it's cleaned. This was a bit irritating since we were there for several days.”

“I thought the hotel was very nice and a great location downtown Halifax and a plus is the keg is right across the street .There is a bar right off the lobby and a nice patio to sit outside off the lobby and we had a complimentary buffet breakfast ,and it was very good .”

“Be aware of the room you are choosing. We stayed in Aft Castle room 6. The online pictures show living areas, kitchens etc but we had one very small room and small bathroom, with no additional living areas, not representative of the photos. If you have mobility issues, this is not your room, as it is three floor walk up. As well, there is very limited parking on site, with overflow parking one block away.”

“The staff was excellent and so nice! They always greeted me with a smile and asked how we were enjoying our trip. I genuinely felt how much they cared about making sure our trip was the best we could have and that they truly cared about their work. The lounge was so comfortable to have a light night drink in and the attached restaurant had amazing mussels! This is the one and only hotel where I know I’ll be bringing the rest of my family to.”

“We stayed at Brewery Park Hotel for one night while visiting Nova Scotia from Calgary to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a wonderful experience. The property itself is beautiful in a great location with a bunch of shops, cafes and restaurants in the area, and our room was incredibly spacious with lots of windows, it was spotless, and thoughtfully maintained. “Stayed ,1 night July 2026. Everything met our expectations. Windows opened to allow for a breeze. Could not find an elevator but we were on the 2nd floor so no big deal. Quiet, clean, great location. Parking spots on street were all taken so parked at the multistorey lot across from MEC. Very expensive - $32 for 16 hrs”
