“A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! ”

“This is a very nice old historic inn. It has a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and a bar inside, as well as a shady garden with places to sit outside as you enjoy a drink or food. Nice big porch out front with chairs on it too. Our room had another sitting room in it that was nice to have. Not sure if they all do. It includes a free, great breakfast at a sister property a few doors down where the food is made fresh for your order. The property is well kept, clean, and the staff...

“Stupendous and will go back again. The rooms are very spacious with a great view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant next door was fantastic with large portions and fantastic food. We did not have time to walk around the town, but drove through and it is extremely charming.”

“Fife and Drum is a wonderful place to stay in Williamsburg. The location is amazing because you can walk to the museums and restaurants. Check in and parking are very easy. The place itself is charming and they always have drinks and snacks available in their quaint dining area, as well as delicious breakfast options. We stayed in the Restoration room, which has somewhat odd decor, but on theme for the area. The only negative for me was the bed. The mattress was too hard for my back and it made...

“Room 240 could’ve been cleaner. I wipe down myself. The bathroom floor was not clean, the tub was not or could’ve been cleaner better. The pillows were flat. This location needs an upgrade! The staff were friendly.”
