Benvenuti a Buffalo Mountain Getaway, un cottage a due piani situata vicino alla montagna di Buffalo in Floyd County, VA. I proprietari Bradley e Pat Vaughn, insieme con la loro figlia Kyra, sono a pochi minuti al fine di garantire il vostro soggiorno è delizioso. Soggiorno nella nostra casa arredata con gusto e godere di un piccolo assaggio del paese. I pavimenti in legno originali sono stati restaurati e il bagno aggiornato. La camera da letto principale comprende un letto matrimoniale, mentre l'altra camera da letto al piano nobile ospita una full size. Al piano superiore vi è un altro full size e letti gemelli per i più piccoli.

La nostra azienda è sede di nostra operazione vacca-vitello ed è stato il luogo casa originale di Garver e Minnie Vaughn, nonni di proprietario, Bradley Vaughn. I Vaughn hanno allevato i loro figli a Burks Fork, insieme ad altri zii, zie, cugini e amici.

NOTE IMPORTANTI: Poiché si tratta di una fattoria e questa casa è stata costruita negli anni '40, ci sono momenti in cui il tempo cambia da caldo a freddo e viceversa che le mosche tendono a presentarsi. Facciamo del nostro meglio per tenerli a bada, ma sappi che potrebbero esserci alcuni da mostrare. Siamo lieti di venire a ripulirli se ne hai bisogno. Le nostre scuse.

I can’t imagine a place more quiet and peaceful as the Buffalo Mountain Getaway. It’s very isolated location amongst the farms make this a special place . It’s very spacious inside the farm house so you have plenty of room for a family. Of course, the porch is the center piece of the house where many good conversations and memories are created .

My family stayed in this cozy farmhouse cottage for one night on our way from NC to Colorado. It was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and 2 pups.

We were four guys staying for one night. This place was quiet and clean. We made use of the bbq and kitchen. The scenery is really nice and the communication with the host was excellent. Sorry we didn’t turn on the dishwasher before we left.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. We had everything we needed on the main floor (two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom). We enjoyed the front porch and outside sitting area. Although it was in the middle of a cow farm, we found the scenery breathtaking. We didn't really didn't notice any overpowering odor or inconvenience from the cows. Hope to visit again!

Rented it as a 2 bathroom house and only had 1 bathroom due to plumbing issues. Disappointed about that with 4 adults and only 1 shower - had to take a number!

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful country side. We were greeted by a momma cow and her calf when we first arrived and our toddlers loved it! We spent the evenings around the fire pit and moved into the living room in the basement to play board games. We also loved sitting on the front porch in the morning. The steps made a perfect spot to take a family photo.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary with a 2 night stay at Buffalo Cottage. This is our second visit to the cottage and found it just as clean and peaceful as last year. The wildlife was even more entertaining this year as its fawning season. This year we had plenty of time to go hike up Buffalo Mountain - the views are gorgeous and you can see this cottage from the top. Enjoyed watching the baling of the hay, farm cats and cattle with calves this visit as well. We'll be back! Thank you!

Four guys friends get together in a quiet location to catch up, relax, and disconnect from the outside world. The home and property are excellent and well worth the drive. If you are looking for a clean, well-kept, and quiet place to unwind and enjoy nature, this is it. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Book it now - you will be glad you did!

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at this rural cottage with view of Buffalo Mountain. The cottage has been lovingly modernized with an eclectic touch to the decor. It looks small but feels delightfully large and comfortable inside with plenty of beds and room for a family visit. There were fireflies at night and field birds in the morning - larks, golden finches, mocking birds, red wing black birds, blue birds -- and at dusk the deer come out of the forests. We enjoyed the cows on their rounds. It was a lovely peaceful stay surrounded by beautiful countryside. Thank you!
