  • A modern and cozy townhouse downtown can be the perfect base for your work-related stay or for just exploring the city.

    This elegant, newly-renovated single family home has a full bath, fully functional kitchen, dining and living room area. The property offers free wifi, a washer and dryer, and street parking.

    Upon entering, you are warmly welcomed you into a freshly painted living room with modern furniture and smart TV. The living room connects to the dining area and coffee bar, and further on to the fully functional kitchen with all appliances needed for a comfortable stay including refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender and cooker.

    Upstairs, you'll find a full bathroom with toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and conditioner, as well as towels, and hairdryer.

    The Master-bedroom boasts a queen bed with night stands, wardrobe, dresser, and smart tv. The second bedroom has a full bed that sleeps two.

    The property is a few minutes drive of the Brandywine Park & Zoo, Baynard Stadium, Christiana Care Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, and several dining options; and is walking distance from the Grand Opera House and the Queen Wilmington.

    The place was absolutely amazing. Match the pictures. I don’t understand why the negativity about the neighborhood. We had no issues. It was quite clean the apartment was accurate to the pictures. The host was beyond kind, responsive attentive. They were very nice. The home was very comfortable cozy two beds TV in the master room TV downstairs was huge. All the appliances cooking was no issue seasons were also there. Parking really wasn’t an issue 23 minutes from Philly. Definitely would book again home was very clean once again can’t stress that enough. It was very clean. Smelled great.

    Rough neighborhood

    The property owner was friendly but he told me this was a good neighborhood and that he’s never had any issues however I pulled into the neighborhood made the block and immediately decided we would not be staying there. I messaged him told him we would not be checking in. I lost over 1000 but as a woman traveling alone I just was not comfortable tents and people on the side walks laying around on the side walks is a no for me .. I never entered the property so I can’t speak to cleanliness or checkin process

    This place needs a deep cleaning, especially the kitchen and bathroom. And, while I understand the difficulties of making a place this old ready for plugging in CPAPs, phones, hearing aid and laptop chargers, we managed. Everywhere except the kitchen. The outlets didn't work. We couldn't get the coffee maker or the toaster to work. The microwave was plugged into an outlet that was live but we couldn't figure out how to make it work. After we punched in the time – and everything else we could see – it just sat there and never came on. I heated water for some coffee in a frying pan on the stove. I contacted the host about these problems and never got an answer. Concerning safety: the bottom of the bathtub was very slick! I could not find a mat of any kind that was secure. I warned my husband and he still slipped and fell, hitting the side of the tub with his full weight on his chest & ribs. Scary! I almost called an ambulance but he moved with care and told me he was 90% sure he was just bruised. Also, I think you need to clearly explain the stairs for older people or those with ANY KIND of mobility problems. It was very hard for both of us.

    Not ADA / handicapped accessible

    First impression of the “hood” was scary. Unit is what appears to be part of a housing “project “. But, we decided to go in and check it out before making any rash decisions. We were delighted to walk into a cute little town house with nice furniture, a huge TV ! This is a split level unit and not at all ADA/wheelchair accessible. Unit has downstairs living room, dining room and kitchen. Up a very narrow and steep staircase are 2 bedrooms and the only bathroom. Unit is clean and appears to be newly repainted. There is a basement with washer/dryer “all-in-one that, unfortunately does not work. We washed one load of clothes (we had to buy the detergent). All of my clothes turned blue! Plus the washer did not finish the cycle and the dryer did not dry the clothes. There is a small back patio, but we didn’t spend any time there. We stayed the week and found the neighborhood to be quiet and folks were pleasant.. My greatest compliment is for the host! She contacted me almost immediately and thanked us for our booking. She even sent us a dried fruit basket!!! Wonderful hospitality and honest concern for our comfort! We ended up really enjoying our stay here. We would gladly book this place again when we’re visiting in the Wilmington area. I would rate this place a high 4!!!
