Nestled on a scenic 5-acre estate, this cozy 1-bedroom cabin offers a relaxing place to enjoy the natural beauty of Wimberley. It comfortably sleeps four, with a luxurious king-size bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.



Inside, a wood-burning fireplace sets the tone for cozy fall nights, and a fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals at home. Step outside to enjoy direct access to the river—perfect for peaceful mornings by the water—or soak in the hot tub under the stars after a day of exploring. The cabin is one of two separate units on the 5-acre property, but all amenities mentioned—including the hot tub, fire pit, and river access—are reserved exclusively for guests of the cabin, so you can relax and enjoy the space fully.

―THINGS TO KNOW - Please read before you book―



CABIN PRIVACY The cabin is one of two separate units on the property, offering a private retreat while still sharing the scenic grounds. Rest assured, all of the cabin’s amenities—including the hot tub, firepit, and grill are exclusively for your use, ensuring a peaceful and secluded experience. While other guests may be staying in the nearby unit, the cabin is thoughtfully positioned to offer privacy, allowing you to fully enjoy the serene surroundings and amenities.



CHECK IN Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. You will receive a code for keyless check 2 days before your arrival. We are only able to offer an early check in if there is not a booking before yours as it takes time for our cleaners to prepare and restock the home for each stay. For this reason, we are also not able to offer a late check out when we have guests checking in the same day.



GUEST RENTAL AGREEMENT: We kindly ask all guests to sign a separate rental agreement after booking. This helps us protect both you and our property, making sure everything is in order for your stay. We’ve kept the agreement simple and straightforward, and we’re happy to answer any questions you might have about it.



CLEANLINESS: We put our heart and soul into ensuring the space is sparkling clean and ready for your stay! We invite you to make yourself at home and show our space the same love and care you would your own. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to keep it pristine for every guest, and we're excited for you to enjoy it! Just a friendly heads-up, any cleaning beyond the ordinary might incur an extra charge.



MINIMUM AGE TO BOOK: You must be at least 25 years of age to book at Luna Rio. A photo of your government ID is required after booking and we will require you to sign a rental agreement.



WELL & SEPTIC: Our home offers the charm of rural living with the convenience of proximity to local attractions. As we rely on well and septic systems, we gently remind guests to be mindful when using sinks and bathrooms. For those not accustomed to well water, you might occasionally notice a sulfur scent. Rest assured, this is completely harmless, and our filters and water softeners are designed to minimize any odors, although a hint of it may still linger at times.



CRITTERS: Our house is in the beautiful Texas countryside, and like many homeowners around here, we have regular pest control to keep critters and bugs at bay. However, every now and then, a few might sneak in. It's pretty rare, but we just wanted to give you a heads-up that it's part of country living!



DAMAGE PROTECTION: Your booking includes coverage for accidental damage during your stay, because we understand that sometimes things happen. We kindly ask that you let us know if anything is damaged, so we can take care of repairs or replacements as needed.



INSURANCE: Given the unpredictable nature of our world, we strongly suggest considering travel insurance to safeguard against any unexpected events. Our cancellation policy is firmly in place, so insurance can offer you peace of mind and protection. A: The entire living area is on the first floor.

A: Yes, and BBQ utensils and propane are provided.

A: We do not provide firewood for the cabin. The outdoor firepits are propane and easy to use.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: We welcome up to 2 well-behaved pets per reservation and they must be on the booking. For the safety and comfort of all guests, please note:



Restricted breeds: We do not allow bully breeds or any breed deemed aggressive under local regulations or insurance guidelines. Please inquire if you're unsure whether your pet qualifies.



Leash required: Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside the home.



Courtesy to others: Pets should not disturb neighbors or other guests with excessive barking or aggressive behavior.



Pet etiquette: Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and ensuring no damage is done to the property.
