Cottage #1 - The Equestrian at RusTx Ranch is a cozy, creatively styled retreat nestled on five acres in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. With 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and room to sleep up to 5 guests, this rustic-modern cottage is part of the RusTx Ranch property—home to a small collection of uniquely decorated cottages, a log home, and an event barn that brings guests together for laid-back relaxation and starry night skies.

Step inside to find warm wood walls, a corrugated metal ceiling, and an equestrian-inspired design that adds charm and character in every corner—from the artwork to the bedding. Both bedrooms offer queen-sized beds with cozy linens, and the cozy bathroom features an extra-long vanity and tiled walk-in shower.

The open living area includes a comfy flip-flop sofa that converts to a bed for a 5th guest, a club chair, and a wall-mounted streaming TV for movie nights. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, and the dining table comfortably seats up to six—ideal for casual meals, game nights, or morning coffee chats.

Outside, your private front porch has classic rocking chairs, perfect for watching the wildlife wander by. Just steps from your door, the three cottages form a horseshoe around a shared firepit area with Adirondack chairs—a gathering space to roast marshmallows, share stories, or wind down under the stars (BYO firewood). You’ll also have access to the shared pickleball court for a little friendly competition during your stay.

Guests love the peaceful setting and easy access to everything Wimberley has to offer. Wimberley Square and Blue Hole Regional Park are just a short drive away, and local favorites like Wimberley Valley Winery and Lone Man Mountain Brewing Co. are less than a mile from the property.

2 Dogs maximum under 35 pounds each allowed for an additional fee of $25 per dog per night.
