This is a brand new home, still being worked on. As such, when we checked in the water was turned off. After a 6-hour drive, we were all looking to use the facilities, but we needed to wait about an hour to hear from the property manager/owner. The trash is in the garage, and clearly hadn't been emptied in awhile, because when we opened it, fruit flies came out and got into the house. The lawn hadn't been mowed. There aren't baggies, tissues or napkins. There's no extra blankets or pillows in the closets. There's no artwork. The home backs up to the highway, something I should have noticed on the map, but didn't, so you do hear noise all day & night. There are no handrails, which was challenging for my friend with a cane and walker. Note for check-in-the box for the key is on the back of the pillar. This is a beautiful home and I hope all the issues can be worked out.

The description listed this property as a townhome when it is actually a single family house. They may want to update that.Also, we were told the WIFI was down and a tech was coming out the day of our arrival. No update provided by the owner, we had to reach out. They gave us a hotspot to use. Yet, there were cameras inside and outside that were running off of WIFI.Everything else was exactly what we needed!

Good for small groups/family

We stayed for theee nights, one adult two kids. Plenty of space, clean, everything we needed. Maybe some decor or a few dressers in the bedrooms. Like the back deck for hanging out.

Worst host ever !!

She keeps a camera in the kitchen hidden then makes up random fees and sends you request for fees over and over again for things you have already payed lied about damages to a comforter that wasn’t even on the property

Sisters Weekend

We needed a good middle location between NC and NY for our girls weekend. This home had 3 bedrooms and 2 1/12 baths, worked perfect for the 3 of us. Very clean! Check in was a bit challenging, they send you the info on the lock box but don't mention it's on the back side of a front porch post, in the dark with cellphone for lighting...but VRBO connected us with host quickly who let us know where it was, then it was easy peasey. I think this is a very new rental, there was no decor which was fine, just strange. None of the bedrooms had a dresser or anywhere to put your suitcase on. Closets are large but only a couple of hangers in them, not deal breakers for us since it was just the weekend, but a challenge for longer stays. A chair might be nice as well. The location was really great, 5 mins to the Apple Blossom Mall and other shopping and restaurants as well as grocery shopping. Pretty easy on and off to Interstate 81 as well. Kitchen might be a bit light on items for a long term stay if some did a lot of cooking, but had everything we needed for the weekend. There were no check out instructions, which was a bit unusual, we've stayed in many VRBO accommodations so we did the usual, stripped the beds, put all the towels in the laundry room with the sheets, combined all the garbage in a couple of bags in the kitchen, swept and vacuumed which was probably more than required but we like to leave things in good shape. Would definitely recommend this place.
