Set right in the heart of Windermere village, this stylish apartment is the perfect base for couples looking to explore the South Lakes. With fantastic restaurants, cosy pubs, and independent shops just moments away, and Lake Windermere within easy reach by foot, bus, or car, you’ll be perfectly placed to enjoy everything the Lakes has to offer.
Inside the Space:
Enter at ground floor level, then up a flight of stairs to the first floor where you will find the apartment.
All set out on one level, the apartment offers a well-designed and comfortable layout, with a separate kitchen diner, cosy living room, double bedroom, and a full bathroom featuring a bath with shower over, basin, and WC. The bathroom includes shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. We`ve also got you covered with a small and large bath towel each.
The kitchen diner is well equipped for everything from lazy breakfasts to evening meals after a day exploring the Lakes. The separate living space provides a welcoming spot to relax and unwind, while the bedroom offers a calm and comfortable retreat at the end of the day.
Just a heads up - there`s no lift, so this property suits those fine with stairs.
This second floor apartment has a communal front door, then up the stairs to your own private entrance.
Forget about the usual check-in fuss. We`ve set up a key safe right next to the front door for an easy self-check-in process.
As for parking, we`ve got you covered. Free on-street parking within a short 1-5 minute walk. If you prefer, there`s also a paid car park at Broad Street Car Park, just a couple of minutes` walk away. We`ll send you more details about parking after booking.

For a breath of fresh air, there`s no shortage of walks nearby. Orrest Head and School Knott are fantastic for a leisurely stroll or a challenging hike. And if you fancy a day by the water, Lake Windermere, including the lovely Miller Ground spot perfect for a BBQ, is just a short walk away.
All in all, it`s a pretty brilliant spot for your Lake District adventure!
If you`re arriving by car, there is free parking on Droomer Drive or Broad Street nearby and the main Windermere car park is just a two minute walk.
Once here, you can explore Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere by foot or take a quick drive to the neighbouring towns and villages.
Public transport more your style? No worries. Windermere is well-served by local buses, making it easy for you to venture around the Lake District.
For those travelling further, Windermere station is 10 minutes walk and Oxenholme Lake District railway station is about 30 minutes away by car. From here, you can catch direct trains to London, Glasgow, Manchester, and more. If you`re arriving by train, you can hop on a local bus or take a taxi to get to the property.
