*Onsite Construction through January/February 2025: Please be aware the amenities deck, including hot tubs and grills will be closed during your stay. The hot tubs are being replaced. The approximate dates of the closure through beginning of 2025 (Founder Pointe, January 24, 2025; Fraser Crossing, February 10, 2025). The property is located at Winter Park Resort in the Fraser Crossing/Founders Pointe Building. We are located right across from the free community bus, "The Lift". Download The Lift Rider App to see departure and arrival times of the bus and destinations. Local Amtrak service is available at different times of the year in Winter Park and Fraser.
Traveling to Winter Park Resort: • Denver International Airport (90-miles by vehicle) • Find carpool buddies with the TreadShare app • Take the Amtrak train: Winter Park Express ( seasonal) / California Zephyr (once daily) • Take a shuttle: DIA on Home James Transportation / Grand Mountain Rides • Use the free bus system "The Lift" if you're staying in town (download the app: Lift Rider App)
During winter months, Colorado has a statewide traction law which requires a 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle to drive on Colorado roads. We are located in a high altitude mountain climate. Snow can occur at any time during winter months. Failure to have a 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle will likely result in being unable to reach your vacation rental. No refunds will be given due to poor weather conditions. We encourage all guests to consider 3rd party travel insurance if they have travel concerns.
Interaction with Guests: Our goal is that your vacation exceed your expectations. Elevation Destinations by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.
