The location was great, the check-in was easy, the house was clean, and the area was quiet. It would have been nice to have an info book with key notes on the area and a check-out checklist to reference. Some board games or cards would enhance the stay for days with bad weather.

We arrived to find the house in an unacceptable condition. There was black hair in the refrigerator, freezer, and drawers; bugs on furniture in one of the bedrooms; food under the master bedroom bed; what appeared to be dirt or another substance smeared on the kitchen wall; heavy dust and cobwebs throughout the home; and dirty walls. The dishwasher was unclean, and there were food particles in the Lazy Susan. Walls were disgusting and dirty. Webs from the ceiling present as well. Within minutes of arriving, I contacted both VueStay and Vrbo. I spent more than three hours on the phone that evening trying to resolve the situation. We were told someone might be able to come clean the following morning, but we would have had to stay overnight in the home’s condition. We did not feel comfortable doing that, especially with our children. After about three hours, we decided to leave.Our children’s white socks turned black from walking on the floors, which reinforced our concerns about the cleanliness of the property. We documented the condition with over 100 photos and requested a refund, but our request was denied despite providing the documentation.This property did not match the condition we expected based on the listing, and our experience was extremely disappointing. We cannot recommend staying here.
