“We’re so glad we decided to stay here instead of some chain hotel! It had so much character & charm. Our room was large & very comfortable. The bathroom was also large & beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds could use a little TLC (my husband was a landscaper 😉) but they were beautiful nonetheless. There was a wonderful Pub within walking distance where the food & atmosphere was wonderful! Perfect ending to our European vacation. Thank you 😊”

As we looked closer we noticed that our room was layered in dust that had obviously been there longer than a week nevermind a day. “I wasn't aware before booking that this hotel isn't staffed 24 hours a day. When we arrived, we had to call a phone number, and we were then told to collect our room keys from the reception desk. This wasn't something I was expecting. There is also no lift, so if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, I'd strongly recommend requesting a ground-floor room. “Property was in a convenient location to Wallington; directly on a bus route and near a small green area for walks with pets. It had a quiet energy about it; meaning the property was quiet considering its location on the crossroads of two main roads and the bar and beer garden being lively but not overly boisterous. Food was tasty; breakfast particularly was plentiful. Parking was adequate.”

“The room was ok and staff were ok. The room was cleaned but not to a great standard. Car parking is good as there are loads of spaces. Windows aren’t sound proofed so unfortunately I had to listen to loud noise and music and loud cars outside until half 12 in the morning which isn’t great on an early start. I paid extra for breakfast on the 2 nights I stopped but unfortunately due to the size of the seating area and the hot plates the Q is massive and to small for the guests that are there and...
