A masterpiece of Moroccan inspired design, this home is truly unique.
As oasis like no other, full of character and relaxed ambience.
The home has an abundance of natural light, most rooms have their own private patio/balcony .
We have a new chefs kitchen installed in 2023, with everything you could possible need for a wonderful relaxing holiday.
We have a huge retreat/games/theater room with a state of the art projector.
We have four bedrooms with comfy new mattresses and high end linens. Also two other sleeping areas, a queen pull out couch in the movie theater room with its own bathroom, as well as two single beds in a small room off the living area overlooking the pool and private walled garden.
The pool, spa and garden area are surrounded by a high stone wall which makes our home extremely private. We have a built in BBQ , comfy outdoor couches on all balconies/ patios.
As well as a huge outdoor stone dining table
So much space for your group , we also have private parking for four mid sized vehicles.
Thirroul is a vibrant surf town just one hour south of Sydney, so great for weekends away.
The restaurants and bars in our beach town are on par with Sydney.
Great coffee shops the list goes on.

The home has designer furniture throughout, comfy beds with high end linens.
A new chefs kitchen.
You will enjoy serenity and calmness from the moment you arrive.
Set in a wonderful scenic private location, withamazing bush walks and beaches which are just minutes away from the home.

The hosts were great! Communication top notch and was able to talk us through and resolve issues we had at the house. We were trying to emulate the lighting state of the pool outdoor area as shown in the pics. Unfortunately this couldn’t happen because the electrical issues required more work than the electricians’ quick fix. We couldn’t get the streaming apps to work in the projector either. The streaming apps weren’t supported by the device (maybe too old) but we could get 10 play going at least. Other than these couple of quibbles, the house was super lovely to be in. The layout is conducive to socialising and entertaining. The kids had a ball in the pool/spa and the kitchen was well stocked with quality kitchen equipment. The neighbours are very sensitive to noise, something to be mindful of when choosing to stay here! Thanks Julie !

Quirky Style, but Other Things Left a Bigger Impression

We booked this property for a girls' (early 40s!) weekend away, hoping for some rest and relaxation. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations—especially considering the glowing Stayz reviews (we later found it listed on another booking site, where some reviews more closely reflected our experience).Before arrival, most of my communication with Julie focused on detailed instructions for using the shared driveway and managing difficult neighbour relations.Upon arrival, several large fans were running throughout the house. It soon became clear this was likely an attempt to mask a strong, unpleasant damp smell—particularly on the main and lower levels. The owner later claimed the fans were for hot summer days, but since it was raining during our stay, that explanation didn’t quite hold. The lower level, which has the only TV and a sofa bed we planned to use, was unusable due to the overpowering musty odour.Cleanliness was also disappointing. There were bugs in the main bathroom, centipedes in the lower (windowless) bathroom, and the floors appeared not to have been mopped for some time. The house clearly needed a deep clean.We shared this feedback directly with the owner but were incredibly disappointed with their response—especially given the 575 cleaning fee and premium pricing (3,559 for two nights including fees). Sadly, this property did not meet expectations, and we wouldn’t return or recommend it.
