I am very sorry to say that I was not at all pleased with my stay at this particular Red Roof Inn. The front desk agent had zero customer service skills and almost seemed annoyed that she actually had to do some work for my check-in. And then, there was the room. It was convenient to go to our car from it, since we were able to park right outside our door. But, the room itself was disgraceful. First, there was mold everywhere. The worst being outside and above the bathroom door. Inside the bathroom, there was peeling paint and more mold. But, that wasn't even the worst of it. The worst was all the cockroaches running around the room. They were EVERYWHERE! And, I do mean everywhere. Along the walls, on the bathroom sink, all along the floor. I even had several running along the desk while I was trying to do some computer work. It was disgusting! Honestly, if I wasn't so exhausted after such a long drive and had another option of a place to stay, I would have checked out right there and then. The only place they didn't seem to be was on top of the bed. I had to shake out my clothes and sneakers and check my luggage to make sure we weren't taking any uninvited guests with us when we left. Thankfully, we planned on only being there for that one night. Needless to say, we are never going back there ever again. I would rather sleep in my car then to go through that ordeal again. The only good thing I can say about the property, was that it was quiet. Sad, really!
