A dieci minuti dalla Yosemite Valley e comodamente situato sulla strada asfaltata, questa affascinante cabina a Foresta soddisferà tutte le tue esigenze. Confortevolmente sistemato per due con un comodo letto matrimoniale, goditi la cucina e il pranzo nel grazioso angolo cottura con nuovo, silenzioso, frigorifero, fornello a gas a 2 fuochi (senza forno), forno a microonde, macchina per il caffè, tostapane, frullatore, pentole, padelle e piatti. Oppure usa il barbecue a propano mentre ti godi gli splendidi spazi aperti. Dotato di stufa a gas e nuovo, silenzioso, A / C. Esplora i dintorni tranquilli, passeggia per Crane Creek a pochi istanti di distanza, poi riposa sotto le querce e i pini ombrosi. Foresta è un ottimo punto di partenza per varie destinazioni Yosemite, Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne Meadows, Merced & Tuolumne Groves of Sequoias e molti sentieri escursionistici. Dotato di TV satellitare gratuita, WIFI e Internet HughesNet Gen4, è disponibile anche la rete 4G di Verizon.

Foresta si trova all'interno dei confini del Parco Nazionale di Yosemite. Ora noto come un "inholding", Foresta (Big Meadow) ha iniziato come area pioneristica. Due ranch (McCauley e Meyers) hanno fornito manzo, maiale, latticini e verdure agli hotel della Yosemite Valley. Negli anni Venti, fu suddiviso e gli fu dato il nome di Foresta. Creato come una comunità "artistica", il torrente organizzava incontri musicali. Dopo la Grande Depressione, molti lotti furono venduti per tasse arretrate. Circa 75 case erano in uso, a tempo pieno o stagionalmente, prima che il fuoco A-Rock del 1993 distruggesse la maggior parte di esse. Più della metà delle case è stata ricostruita. Il fuoco è stato una forza determinante in quest'area, mettendo in mostra i cicli infiniti di Madre Natura.

Great place to stay in Yosemite

This is an awesome place to stay for location to everything great about Yosemite! There is a fun hike to Foresta Falls right outside your door. The cabin was very well equiped for those that wish to eat in and cook. The only reason Icannot give the location a 5 star rating is the queen bed being very very saggy. For some this may not be a big deal but for this price range the bed should be better.

Loved this Cabin 20 min. From Yosemite Valley!

This cabin felt about as close as you could stay in Yosemite Valley (unless you’re paying to stay in the lodges or camping). The proximity made it simpler to get to all of the nearby hikes and eateries in the valley. The cabin itself was perfect for our needs and we didn’t have any issues. It’s great for 1-2 adults! The manager, Annie, was amazing! She communicated with us every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Yosemite getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was secluded yet close to Yosemite. The cabin had everything we needed to cook our meals during our stay. We heard an owl one evening. We loved staying in nature. We recommend the cabin.

Amazing location

The cabin was perfect for our stay. Plenty of towels, TP, soap. All that you need after a long day of exploring the Valley. Communication was excellent. We would 100%stay again. The cabin is all that you need for a trip to Yosemite.

Yosemite Cabin stay

We wanted to be close to all the great sights in Yosemite but didn’t want to stay in the park Hotels. This cabin worked great for two of us. We were able to make our own meals and not have to rely on the restaurants that really don’t have great reviews. Cabin was clean and had a nice small kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Perfect for what we wanted.

Great Location!

The cabin is truly in the perfect location to access all that Yosemite National Park has to offer. The hosts offered clear directions and good communication. The amenities are OK - no shampoo etc. Would recommend for a weekend or a few nights if your plan is to be out and about in the park! 8/10

Einfach wundervoll! Einfach zu finden, ruhige Lage im Nationalpark, in 20 Minuten im Yosemite Valley. Das Häuschen ist für zwei Personen optimal eingerichtet. Wir haben nichts vermisst!

Peaceful Cabin in the Park

Highly recommend this cabin if wanting to stay in the park, but also enjoy some peace from the crowds. It is close to the valley but has the feeling of peace of privacy in the mountains (with A/C!). There are a few close neighbors, but we never heard them. We brought in groceries and enjoyed breakfast/dinner out on the porch each day. Only recommendation is to print off the directions the host provides or your own because it’s a bit hard to find the first time, especially with no service.

Perfect little cabin

The place was perfect for what we needed. We did a lot hiking and exploring so this gave us a great place to come back and relax to. It was quiet and away from the crowds. The shower has amazing pressure but make sure you close the bottom all the way to keep water from leaking out. Highly recommend.

Great little house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Yosemite. The house was a short 20 minutes from the Valley which was great! The house is quiet and equipped with everything we needed. The only downfall was the high temperatures that Yosemite was experiencing. The window unit AC had a hard time keeping up. Thankfully the nights cooled off and we slept with the windows open. We would stay here again! Thank you!

The perfect stay

We booked this place for our first stop on our honeymoon. We are from Chattanooga. Tn. We loved the location. It is in nature and away from traffic and crowds. We took amazing pictures on the road that takes you to the place. Everything was in driving distance. It really set our honeymoon off to a great start.

Great cabin

Not too far from Yosemite and Curry Villages for groceries and food outlets (maybe 20 mins four to door) and easy journey. Very quiet location. Great space inside. Good, well kitted out kitchen with big fridge, freezer and microwave. Good shower and plenty of hot water. Plenty of towels too. Bed was good size but very soft mattress which may suit some people. Everything you need for a few days inside Yosemite park.

Great Location Inside The Park

This property was as advertised. There was easy access to all areas of the park. No waiting in line each day to enter the park. It was hot when we visited so it was nice to have an air conditioned cabin to come back to.

Perfect Place for Visiting Yosemite

This property was the perfect place for visiting Yosemite. It was quiet and secluded, yet still quiet close to Yosemite Valley and Tioga Rd. There is a little maintenance needed, such as a tricky shower door and a mattress that could be replaced, but it was still a great value, especially with the bonus of air conditioning, something hard to find around the Yosemite area. Overall, I think I'd stay again.

Shady Grove Cabin

My daughter and I stayed there and loved it! We can't wait to return, perhaps this Autumn. It was a joy to experience the beauty of Yosemite and to leave the crowds behind at the end of the day and return to this charming cabin. The peace and quiet there were wonderful. It was comfortable and well stocked with cooking pots and pans, dishes, etc. Our overall experience was a 10!

Perfect spot for exploring the park!

Located inside the park, this quiet cozy cabin was the perfect spot for my husband and I. The place was very clean, bed was comfy, and location was only 15 mins from the valley, while still being away from the crowds. Loved having a little kitchenette as well so we could cook our own meals. Highly recommend to anyone exploring Yosemite!

Yosemite Hideaway

Love Yosemite but not the crowds? I get to the park 2-3 times a year, for 25 years now. Foresta is a gem, well off the beaten path for most visitors - but 15 minutes from the valley. Quiet! Wonderful hikes, literally outside your door. Foresta Falls are about 20 minutes away, and they'd be the centerpiece of a park anyplace other than Yosemite. Continuing on that trail takes you out to overlook the Merced River canyon. Another hike (on First and Second Streets) takes you on a loop around the top of the hill with views of El Cap, Half Dome and Big Meadow. Big Meadow itself is about a ten minutes walk. As a birder, I appreciated the nice mix of birds, and the fact that you could hear them without all the noise of the valley. A well-stocked kitchen meant that it was easy to make a meal worthy of the location. I'll be back!

Peaceful cabin off the beaten path

The cabin was in a beautiful location and perfect for two! It was nicely appointed and comfortable and allowed us to escape the crowds of the valley and really appreciate the stunning beauty of the area. So quiet!!

Quiet and in the park

My spouse and I spent three nights and it was just perfect. space is good, kitchen has everything we needed and the location was the added bonus. Since it's still within the park there was no enter / exiting everyday, which can be a big time saver. It was easy to find and after all the crowds all day, it was lovely having a quiet, private space to retreat to each evening. Thank you for sharing your space - we really enjoyed it!
