Need a little more attention to detail ( several light bulbs out , no tissues in the tissue box, no shampoo in the container in the shower. ) But to be more positive the decor was fun. Lots of space, very close to restaurants and small town. I will 100% be back.”

“As a little motel close to a festival venue, the Black Bear Lodge was just what I was looking for. I was prepared for it to be small and basic and for the decor to be somewhat dated. “The owner or manager was quite accommodating with early checkin for our luggage and let us use her mini refrigerator.
She was very friendly and gave us a tour of this 1889 home. She made a delicious breakfast accommodating my gluten and dairy intolerance. The bed and room were totally comfortable! The only drawbacks were sharing the bathroom with the three other rooms making six people using the one bathroom. A water filter is also needed for the brown water.”

“Ben was such a great host and so lovely to chat with. It was for sure an LGBTQIA+ friendly B&B, and we felt right at home amongst the incredibly eclectic decor. SUCH a cool and interesting house. The breakfasts were also great, the mushroom quiche especially! No complaints :)”
