“This home has everything you could possibly need for a long weekend away, It is peaceful and has beautiful views. We spent the long weekend kayaking and canoeing. Evenings were spent around the large dining room table then relaxing on the dock,deck, or fire pit! The home is situated in a very quiet neighborhood with beautiful homes and gardens. “A group of us gathered for a bit of a staycation from the Richmond area. We had a ladies night on Friday and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better location!! Saturday we had some other friends join us for food on the water and it was the most relaxing setting for us to reset and connect. The kitchen was pleasantly stocked with utensils and gadgets, one friend was like "wow, they have everything!". “We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was close to Charlottesville downtown and Shenandoah national park and thats what we wanted. There are several vineyards nearby. The host was easy to communicate with. We had some issues with water pressure that were promptly addressed.”

“Abbey's place worked well for our graduation stay. It is an older property with beautiful solid wood furniture and a comfy feel in a quiet neighborhood about 1.5 miles from UVA. All the amenities are as noted in the listing. The beds were comfortable (not too soft) and the kitchen had everything we needed. Abbey's instructions were clear and she was very responsive when I had trouble logging onto the wifi. There is room to park 2 cars off the street to the left of the house, and with a car UVA...

“The house was great, the beds were very comfortable and its location was perfect for access to the grounds, downtown, and the athletic complex! Only suggestions- would have loved some furniture to sit outside and the living room love seats were not comfortable nor adequate for 5 guests to hangout together. ”

“Everything was great. Only we were not left any dishwasher detergent. I did call the number you gave me. It only got a voice mail so we hand washed most dishes but had to leave early this AM and left a few cups, etc in dishwasher.”

“It was very difficult to get to the water with the big ditch and rocks that were in the middle of the path that was under construction for running electic to the boat house. The house next door constantly had a bob cat running a jack hammer and a backhoe beeping all day Friday and Saturday. There was no break, constant load noise both days. We went for peace and quiet and literally got the opposite. The house was nice but we were disappointed with the experience.”
