I suppose it is normal for a “resort” in CA but the room was musty and had a few dead bugs and thus my disappointment. Also no elevators and we were on the 2 nd floor. “Unless you like mystery fluids in your room, and interstate noise keeping you up all night, the rudest staff in the industry, don’t stay here. Our key card kept deactivating and when we went to the front desk, we were told it was probably something we did and noticed a note that there was one room next door to us on psych watch and another close by that inquired about a gun. Not my idea of a nice weekend getaway with my family. Didn’t sleep a wink.”

“Disappointed in our stay. Room smelled damp because poor circulation. TV didn’t work, they sent someone out but it only worked for a short time. Which was crappy because we wanted to watch World Cup soccer. I booked through Expedia and didn’t realize there would be an additional $25 a night resort fee and $36 a night parking. We will not be back!”

“Staff was great, room was clean. Our bed was very uncomfortable and the spa did not have any amenities aside from a steam room that was not temperature regulated. Jacuzzi was very small for a resort and over crowded.”

“The unit was very big and beds were very comfortable. Parking was a challenge but front and back parking was convenient. there’s always parking on the street even though you don’t want leave your car full of stuff on the street. the train was a daily noise-since it is across the street. Other than that pretty quiet area. Very close to several beaches. Moonlight Beach and Ponto.All in all good place to stay.”
