Amazing resort. Food options could be a tad better but would definitely stay again.

Bracelet for the key for the room was excellent. Towels, chairs, and umbrella for the beach during certain hours was very convenient. We felt like royalty.

The hotel was great and we enjoyed our stay. It does need some upkeep here and there. The beach was a bit underwhelming - a narrow stretch, with rocks in the water that can easily hurt your feet. While the water is very calm, the rocks can be a bit hard to navigate for younger kids. The pool was great but needed more upkeep. We arrived on July 4th and the pool area was packed. I noticed empty plastic cups in the bushes near the pool and even came across a plastic lid on the bottom of the pool. Some people had left their empty plastic cups near the edge of the pool. It was not a great first look, I must admit, but it got better during our stay, with fewer people around. The hotel needs to either incentivize people to bring their used pool towels back or have more personnel pick up the used towels. We found many pool chairs covered with wet towels, which made it hard to know if the person was still there or not. On the positive side, the fish pond and piano in the Garden wing were an absolute hit with my boys. We had fun feeding the fishes and the turtles and looking at the friendly iguanas roaming around. The ice cream shop, which is open 24 hours and also offers sandwiches, coffee and smoothies, is amazing. I recommend if you want a cheaper snack or breakfast than what the pricey restaurants in the hotel offer. Having a Starbucks there was also great. The stores were nice too, but overpriced.

La struttura è bella pero' i ristoranti offrono tutti un menu molto simile ( escludendo quello italiano che ha tutti i piatti scritti in modo scorretto e non invita certo un' italiana come me a provarli , chiedere 80 dollari a persona e non verificare nemmeno il nome dei piatti non è una buona pubblicita'). La piscina è molto bella e sono sicura che con l'aqua climatizzata sarebbe ancora meglio . Ultima cosa che mi sento di segnalare e' il servizio di noleggio della macchina! Abbiamo prenotato la macchina per 2 giorni, facendo un programma per vedere piu cose possibili e quando siamo andati a ritirare la macchina al giorno e all'orario stabilito ci hanno detto che non era disponibile e non sapevano dirci quando lo sarebbe stata! È arrivata 2 ore dopo e non abbiamo potuto visitare tutti i posti che avevamo programmato! In piu nei 2 giorni che abbiamo tenuto la macchina continuava ad accendersi una spia di malfunzionamento del motore, l'abbiamo segnalato piu volte, perche non è bello essere in giro e avere problemi alla macchina , soprattutto se non è la tua e c' e' stato detto di non preoccuparci che la macchina faceva sempre cosi...

The Condado Vanderbilt is a beautiful property, and our suite was stunning. Having a butler was a nice touch, but unfortunately, the service throughout our stay did not match the luxury experience we expected. Housekeeping was consistently disappointing. We often had to call multiple times just to have our room cleaned, and there were occasions when no one showed up after our request. Even when the room was serviced, towels would be replenished while washcloths were removed or not replaced, forcing us to call housekeeping repeatedly for basic necessities. The most concerning part of our stay occurred during breakfast. My fiancée often dined alone and experienced what we perceived to be noticeably less attentive service. When I arrived, as a lighter-skinned guest, the staff suddenly became much more attentive. While I can’t know the reason, the difference in treatment was significant enough that it left us questioning whether colorism or racial bias played a role. I appreciate the front desk staff for adjusting our final bill after hearing our concerns, but that did not make up for the repeated service issues we experienced. A luxury hotel should provide consistent, attentive service to every guest. Sadly, despite the beautiful accommodations, I don’t see myself staying at the Condado Vanderbilt again.
