I booked a tour through the hotel, which included transportation. We were driven to the tour site, located approximately one hour from our hotel. However, when we arrived, we were informed that the tour had been cancelled.
The driver took us back to the hotel, but we were still charged for the transportation. The hotel should have informed us of the cancellation before we were taken all the way to the site, especially considering the distance involved.
We raised the issue with the hotel manager, but unfortunately, our concerns were not properly addressed, and we were still charged for the transportation despite the tour never taking place.
I believe the transportation charge should be refunded, as this situation could have been avoided entirely if the hotel had communicated the cancellation to us in advance.
