hotel modesto (qualche spiffero dalle finestre e lenzuola non proprio puite), ma con postazione internet gratuita, in posizione direi felice, a circa tre minuti dalla fermata dei tram che ti portano in centro e a circa 5 minuti, a piedi, dal museo di van gogh, colazione continentale, normale ma abbondante, il quartiere é tranquillo ed elegante (nella via dove si trova l' hotel, ci sono tantissimi negozi di abbigliamento griffato). Noi lo consigliamo, per chi non ha particolari esigenze e si sa adattare!!!!!!

Buon Hotel, pulito confortevole e staff disponibile. Ottima posizione per i turisti, dovessi ripetere l'esperienza prenoterei ancora qui.

Il prezzo è alto rispetto al servizio fornito; camere sporche (cambio delle lenzuola molto raro), colazione mediocre (in più, l'odore del locale dove si mangiava era pessimo) e servizi igienici molto ridotti come dimensioni (da sottolineare il fatto che l'acqua calda non era sempre disponibile, soprattutto al mattino). Probabilmente ci sono posti di gran lunga migliori.

“Just what we were looking for”

Short break arranged at the last minute. Hotel was what we were looking for. Could have had better information about getting to and from airport. Train to the main station not the best option for us. Better is the bus. Check out the charming park at the back of the hotel if you have time.

“Typical Ams city hotel...”

Maybe it was just my room, but they put me in the ground floor room, which I could not open window, or had to stick with people walking at the counter on the 1st floor. Typical city hotel. Small room.

Dead end street backs onto a large park breakfast very good,close to trams.would stay again.

We had a family room for 4. After reading some of the other reviews before we stayed we were feeling a little bit apprehensive about what we were letting ourselves in for but we were absolutely delighted with everything. The hotel was ideally placed for any sightseeing "on foot" around Amsterdam. It was next door to the Vondel Park and just round the corner from all the museums, it was on the same street as all the "designer" shops (e.g. Chanel, Gucci). The hotel itself was an established hotel and not a shiny new hotel but it was clean and provided everything you could want. Our room was nicely furnished and spacious with an "en suite" shower room with toilet and hair dryer. The towels were changed every day. The beds were made every day and there was a television and kettle etc. The dining room downstairs was nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a buffet "Continental breakfast" and you could eat and drink as much as you wanted. There were all kinds of bread and rolls, scrambled egg, boiled egg, cheese and various meats, melon, salad, cereal, yoghurt, orange juice, apple juice, milk, chocolate milk, tea, coffee and then the usual continental breakfast things. The dining room staff were very kind and helpful. The reception staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. What more could you want? I think that if people want a good base for a sight seeing holiday then this is a very good place.

“Good Location”

The rooms were very small and the staff wasn't very helpful or polite, but the location was very convenient for what we wanted to do in the city. I would stay here again.
