Hotel a Morganton

“The hotel was very clean and nice. My only disappointment was the check-in. The clerk was extremely slow getting us checked in. He also tried to say our room requested had been over booked after we had already called earlier in the day to let them know we were coming in late. We were finally able to get checked in after 20+ minutes [and yes, we were the only ones checking in].”

“The room was filthy! The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the shower head was rusty the vent for the bathroom was filthy and rusty. There were stains in the bathtub. The furniture was old, stained badly and had burn marks from cigarettes. The air conditioner had an old cigarette butt inside of it, which I'm sure contributed to the smell. The pool was empty, I'm assuming it was getting repaired, but I had no notice prior to my arrival that it was closed. I stayed as I didn't want to find another...

“Book directly with Hampton not thru Expedia they didn’t have my room booked but I got a confrontation notice reminder even the morning of my arrival. Never using Expedia again”

“I’m a professional cleaner and usually see everything everywhere I go, this facility was beautifully kept up. The staff was soo helpful going out of their way to even find us ziplock bags for our tubing trip ! Amazing stay all the way around! Ps the kitchen even has trays they will give you to take food back to the room if you’d rather eat there .”
