“Pro-Night front desk was wonderful. Check in was a friendly experience. Cons- room was dirty and not well maintained. Bed was VERY uncomfortable. Owner was not helpful in any way during the stay.”

“The property is a little hard to find. It’s listed as Natural Bridge State Resort Park but the hotel itself is called the Hemlock Lodge. It’s built into the side of the hill. The pool is like 100 steps down at the bottom. Super friendly staff and clean property. A smoke free hotel but the workers are constantly smoking right outside the doors leading out on their breaks. We were visiting with our 2 dogs. The only issue we had is there is no dedicated spot for the dogs to go to the bathroom....

“Nothing unique about it. The bathroom door wobbled because it did not have a solid core and the frame did not seem to be real wood. It was dirty and screwed together on the outside. The shower head only had four out of six nozzles worked and you could not adjust the spray from one setting to another. The room was not cleaned while we were gone, although the manager did come change the sheets and bring fresh towels when we told him about it. One of the two sets of stairs leading to the second...

“I checked in last Friday night to this hotel and walked into what can only be described as a cloud of smoke. After talking to the front desk it sounded like there was a mix up with our booking but they assured me they could get us into a non-smoking room. The non smoking room they gave us as it turns out was actually just a previous smoking room that they had swapped a coat of paint on. Which did not matter because the chair in the corner had a cigarette burn and the smoke detector was hanging...
