“We normally travel in a motorhome and don't stay in hotels much. But we had a short trip, so decided to stay at Spark by Hilton in Winchester, VA. We had stayed there before. The room was very nice but was surprised by the lack of a electrical outlet next to the bathroom sink for an electric toothbrush, etc. I really liked that the front desk texted me to see how our stay was going (nice touch). “Got a good rate on Expedia for a well-rated hotel we stayed at ~10 yrs ago. Lobby is nice with a bar. No free breakfast. But there is quick coffee bar with a few food items. Self-parking was $18/night in an area you'd not expect it to be. Daily maid service=minimally furnished amenities/towels/etc. My one cup of coffee was ruined with curdled cream (husband's black coffee in noninsulated cup got cold quickly/no m/w); hair in tub which backed up; hair on bathroom floor; not much TP-didn't last 1...
