“The hotel was clean, the room was beautiful but unfortunately the walls are so paper thin. I heard every single thing next door. You really do need to speak quietly and it was frustrating trying to sleep.”

“This motel perfectly corresponds to our needs: easy to be reached by car, large parking, comfortable rooms, good quality hot buffet breakfast included in the reasonable rates. Smart person at the reception. 5 minutes by car from the Hopper House (which is our reason to visit Nyack, NY)”

“Where do I start? The hotel is OLD.. I mean wallpaper peeling, pleather headboard peeling, pleather chair all ripped up. TV had a huge spot of dead pixels. NONE of the outlets worked on the nightstand. When we brought it up to the front desk we where given pieces of plastic to shove in the outlets. The lights also didn't work. The halls just reek of weed. The mattress was probably the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel. You could feel the springs. Pillows were so...

“I was truly not expecting this hotel to be so cute, quiet, and vast. It was conveniently situated close to an event we attended over the weekend and close enough to good restaurants. I only wish their restaurant was open, and I wished their coffeehouse had more breakfast options, but for a new hotel, they’re nailing it so far. I loved sitting on the bridge in the morning and watching the wildlife around the reservoir. I’d come back for a quiet weekend!”

“There were 2 weddings on the property, therefore the restaurant and bar was closed to guests. There was a makeshift bar in the lobby with minimal places to sit. The hotel itself was clean and front desk staff was very helpful”

“When booking the room, the cleaning service is indicated daily. In reality we discovered that the room cleaning service is carried out once every 3 days and in the last 5 days of our stay it was never carried out. For this reason the judgment can only be poor.”

“Room was nice, bed was comfortable, bathroom needs a little TLC. Outside of the property needs work, it was dirty. Breakfast was OK, waffle maker was the only thing I used.”

“Staying at Residence Inn is always nice because rooms are like apartment units. They are spacious and have everything you need for a flexible and comfortable stay. There were some imperfections in cleanliness with our unit at the Orangeburg location, but we didn’t complain since we were checked in early. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful as well. Although there aren’t too many hotel options in the area, we will likely stay here again the next time we visit.”
