We were so disappointed with this Marriott location. First when we checked in the room, we had trash left in our garbage cans around the room from the previous traveler, also the carnage disposal in the kitchen was clogged with moldy paper towels that smelled horrible. It was late but I called down and let them know. They said someone would be up the following day to clean it up. That night we put the heat on and it smelt like burning hair and we thought a fire had started. We called again and the maintenance guy basically acted like we were crazy. When we went out into the hallway because of the smell the entire floor reeked of marijuana. We finally went to bed. The next day as we were getting ready to go out my husband took a towel from the clean stack and when he went to dry off he opened it and it has a brown smear stain on it. It was DISGUSTING. When we left I went to the desk and asked them to PLEASE clean the the room today. We needed towels, garbage etc. The response was it was very late in the day (12:00) but they would try. When we got home at 11pm NOTHING was cleaned. No clean towels, garbage disposal still clogged and trash bins still full. The corners of all the floors were caked with dust. Tables were stained or has gunk dried on. We never even ate breakfast because of the cleanliness of the room we didn’t want to risk the kitchens. It was very upsetting and we tried to call Marriott for help and got no where. We will NEVER stay here again.
