“Nice simple hotel, well managed, clean. Good hints and suggestions by hotel staff.”

“Dante was a wonderful host for our 8 day stay at Sunset Tulum. The area is surrounded by super cute shopping with a wonderful breakfast spot across the street. The beach across the street was beautiful, with easy access. The hotel was tucked away in the lush jungle with guarded security, so we felt very safe and taken care of there. The attached restaurant, Loco, was some of the best food we had with great atmosphere. We also enjoyed utilizing the rooftop cooking space with the beautiful sunset...

“It was nice having a pool and a refrigerator. The air conditioner didn't cool our room to the degree we set it. A gym on the next street plays loud music in the morning. Although the staff is pleasant and most speak English, sometimes no one is around and the water is often empty. Even so, I still would stay there again as the place is in a good location at the edge of town, the price is good, and the grounds are really beautiful.”

“It was in a great location. We stayed inside a jungle in a cabin like room. However they need to improve the services and amenities inside the room. It has lack of lighting, one fan at the corner is not sufficient, no paper towel, bin inside the room. There was no shampoo or conditioner other than the body wash. The bed was stinky, not enough hangers. Overall the amenities need to be improved a lot based on the rent they are charging.”

“Superbe hôtel, propre et au goût du jour (comme sur les photos). Le personnel super sympathique et il offre des déjeunés (non inclus) le matin. Par contre loin de tout, nous avons l'option de louer un vélo mais les routes sont en mauvais état dans ce secteur donc c'était plus ou moins pratique. Mais sinon pour le prix ça en vaut la peine! ”

“Si vous ne voulez pas dormir, allez-y ! Une literie des plus horribles où vous avez les ressorts du matelas qui vous casse le dos, les jambes et les épaules. Et ce n'est pas une exception car tous les matelas du dortoir étaient semblable. Le petit déjeuner se résume en une tasse de café avec 2 toasts confiture OU un bol de fruits.”

“Noelli, the front desk assistant was incredibly helpful and wonderful. All of the staff were great! Pros: location, location, location! Super awesome setting. Staff were all amazing. Cons: molt on tents (everything here has molt, it's inevitable with the environment). The first night it was difficult to sleep. The lack in being able to take a shower when we wanted - no hot water. We had to wait on the water tanks to refill. That was inconvenient but overall not a big deal. Overall, great...

“Non posso fare una recensione a questa struttura dato che non ho potuto fare il mio soggiorno in qua. Mi hanno rubato i soldi il loro sitio era un fake e il sitio Expedia non sei reso conto, i numeri di telefono e l’indirizzo sono falsi non esistono. Ho cercato l’indirizzo su Google è una volta arrivata al posto mi hanno detto che loro non avevano nessuna prenotazione e che il loro sito gliel’avevano clonato. È posto tra l’altro non è come nelle foto, è tutto un falso. Mi sono trovata a dover...

“The central location on akumal is great. There is plenty to do here without needing a car....bike or golf cart recommended though.”

“Didnt get to stay got there no one was at the reception place is nothing to do with a hotel has a bad aspect dosnt look in good conditions and the location no good a person that stays there saw me looking for someone and he toldme that the person in charge left and be back probably next day and that this is all the time so i am very disapoint but in a way haply because i didnt like that place at all ”

“This is an apartment not a hotel. The room is tastefully decorated and has a decent bathroom. The building entrance is on an unpaved alley that is not well lit in the evening. There were mouse or rat droppings outside the door, though no evidence of them in the room. It is located on a busy highway, with large trucks that can cause the windows to rattle. This is about 15 minute walk from where the nice restaurants in Tulum are located and about a 30 minute bike ride to the beach area.”

“Javier was so friendly. The Aunty who makes breakfast was also super sweet. The two of them made us feel very welcome. The room was nice and clean. Probably one of the nicest budget places I've stayed. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. We love you Javier!”

“Me encantó el lugar, y todos son muy lindos contigo , súper atentos , amables , siempre al pendiente de lo que necesitas , a mi llegada la recepcionista fue súper súper linda y explicó todo a detalle , las actividades, la red de wifi, horarios etc. lo malo es que está súper escondido y no hay señal para el GPS así que lo ideal es poner el GPS saliendo del aeropuerto,”

“This place is brand new, only 4 months old since it opened. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help you by answering your questions or by simply confirming a taxi when needed. I would stay there again, the only con I didn't like is that the closest convenience store is "walking distance" but the roads are very confusing [we got lost]. ”
