“The Florance was a great place to stay from every perspective. Room was excellent well fitted out and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The location is great over the road from the Botanical Gardens and on the edge of the city. If you are an AFL fan down for the footy (as I was) the location is only a 10-15 minute stroll to the ground. Pub over the road was good for a meal. Will definitely return.”

“l'albergo è ben tenuto, le stanze sono pulite, il personale gentile e disponibile per ogni informazione. L'unica pecca è quella di essere un po' lontano dal centro. Sono preferibili le stanze con vista fiume, le altre danno su un'area commerciale/industriale. Comunque da raccomandare”

“Very Central Location. Clean. Old and dated. Was allocated a basement room below street level in front of the hotel so noise from the street (cars/people walking by). On the first night was disturbed around midnight by noisy guests having loud conversations which continued for more than an hour. May not have been an issue if we were on the upper floors. ”

“Have stayed previously at 6 other places in Launceston. I rate this as the best. Clean,safe ,close to CBD ,lovely brekkie with city view. Superb and friendly staff. I will return. Amenities abundant in room with biscuits for a cuppa.A wall heater to combat water chills. Don’t miss it!”
